I just watched the fight without sound and the huge difference was that first round. When I watched it for the first time I scored round 1 10-8 for Cotto because of the KD, but when I watched it on silence, There was a total difference. Clottey was dominating the first round and he did get knocked down. I scored it 9-9 when watching it on silent. Round 7 on silent I scored 10-8 for Clottey because Cotto did as much in that round as Donaire did against Rigondeaux in round 12. Watching fights on silent makes it so the crowd does not influence the scorecard. My new score is 114-112 Clottey.

      My Full Scorecard

      RD 1: 9-9
      RD 2: 10-9 Clottey
      RD 3: 10-9 Clottey
      RD 4: 10-9 Cotto
      RD 5: 10-9 Clottey
      RD 6: 10-9 Cotto
      RD 7: 10-8 Clottey
      RD 8: 10-9 Clottey
      RD 9: 10-9 Cotto
      RD 10: 10-9 Clottey
      RD 11: 10-9 Cotto
      RD 12: 10-9 Cotto

There was no way that Cotto won that fight. That was a gift decision Cotto got.

why would you score round 1 a 9-9 round?you have to score it 10-8 cotto, simply because of the kd....clottey wasnt dominating and even if he had, cotto got the kd.... no experianced judge would have scored that round 9-9 brush..

Going by your scorecard and scoring it correctly you had Cottto winning 114-113 the only difference being the kd. Not very convincing, next time have the guy being "robbed" winning by more than 2 points.
very spot on!! there is no way you can score round 1 a 9-9 round!! cotto got that round 10-8.....

There's robberies and then there's close fights

          This wasn't a robbery

Dinamita already said what I wanted to

Before that fight was made, ppl were saying Clottey was the kind of legit welterweight that Pacquiao would never fight
What? Clottey didn't want to win that fight. He was there for a check and only a check.

Lets not forget Cotto was boxing Clottey with blood getting in his eye through out the fight and yet Clottey couldn't even finish him off.

The T/S says it is a robber because he decides tho score round 1 9-9 instead of 10-8 for a real knockdown. In no way that fight was a robbery. At the end of the fight and even with that huge cut that Cotto had Clottey's activity drops off.

Clottey has always choked in his biggest fights. Pac kept his hands at bay with his activity, it is what you do when a fighter fights in a shell

Deserved win for Miguel, he wanted it more and did enough to edge a close one. Its worth noting he was cut very early on and could have pulled out and won on the cards as the early KD had him out in front but being the fan friendly badass he is he soldiered on and won the fight the hard way

                  10 round must. Can't score it 9-9.

There's no clear score in this fight, other than it being very close either way.

At the time I think I had Cotto winning by a point, so if Clottey had balanced properly in the first I'd have had it a draw.

I can't say I'm too worried about Clottey. Both got big fights afterwards but the difference is that Cotto was entertaining, win or lose. Clottey's non-performance against Pacquaio was pitiful.
