yes i re watched, ur right about the 12th

other round ur talkin about is 7 i think when bhop landed two flush, and kovs legs stiffened

i think kov's punch resistance is c- or b, good, but he can be hurt and dropped, against a bigger puncher, with a skillset, he may come undone..

will be interesting to see him against some better opposition, just dont see anyone wanting to step in the ring with him, given his power..

      WTF?

We don't call it USOA we call it USA.

      He should be SG.

      Shouldn't be capitalizing O.

It should be an initialism not an acronym.

He don't know doe. He boxs for a living.

yep, i think that chin can quickly land him in trouble against many of the top guys who wont lay down to his assault/reputation but also really try to knock his head off

            Nah, I will pass.

At work a guy wrote an e-mail with a boatload of initialisms and acronyms.

He said count how many acronyms in this e-mail.

He thought there were 11 but really there were only 2 because 9 of them were initialisms.

... Yes, Kov was on the verge of disaster into the 12th... he was almost dead there, right?

The herd mentallity at work here as usual. yes Kovalev fought a great fight, he showed intelligence, patience and persistance. But once Kovalev made a determination not to engage Hopkins haphhazerdly there was never going to be anything Bernard could do....Hopkins great as he is, does not have the strength or the punching power to fight guys that big and strong, unless they do ****** things.

Remember how Hopkins beat Taylor that first fight? and I am not talking about who the judges gave the fight to....Bernard said, and in fact did, take the rawboned, strong as an ox, Taylor into deep water and drowned him. Hopkins did in fact have some problems with Taylor's physical strength in the early part of the fight... So we know that when Kovalev fought strong he was on the primrose path to victory.

How does this translate to Ward?! First off, whether Ward can go up and handle the weight at light heavy has very little to do with Kovalev... If Ward grows into the weight he will continue as an elite, if he cannot then he can't fight guys who are phhysical at that weight. Assuming Ward makes the transtion he should have no problems with Kovalev. Maybe I am missing something but this guy looks like a bigger stronger Froch.

When people say Ward moves slow....he is methodical, much like Louis he cuts the ring down with specific combos in mind. Kovalev is strong as an ox, can punch but I don't see him on Ward's level unless Ward cannot handle the transition up which is a possability.

Before the herd goes nuts....Kovalev was considerably stronger than Hopkins and it took Bhops out of the game because he could not compete inside.

Its the same for most big punchers, they are blessed with power, but the chin is suspect..Kov has that long western cowboy chin lol

Although Triple G looks like he has a granite chin..i havent seen him once rattled from flush shots

Two of my current fav fighters Khan and Thurman also have suspect chins..well Khan does for cert

i used to think it'd pretty competitive, but last night may cloud my judgement. i think it's likely he beats the breaks off of ward.

                      I'd favour Kovalev.
