Chavez Jr is 185cm, probably comes in around the same weight as Kovalev (lol) and GGG had zero trouble pushing him around in sparring. I've also never seen Kovalev actually be physical on the inside, have you? He is a medium range fighter who doesn't seem to enjoy close range.

If Golovkin puts Kovalev down in sparring, I'm confident he can make him hesitant of incoming fire. He doesn't need to back him up constantly, just catch him with a nice hook when he's pulling straight back, which he does a lot.
You're talking about sparring stories which are from what source? Golovkin's trainer? I couldn't care less what happened in sparring to be honest.

We don't really know how good Golovkin's chin is either. He got hit by Stevens and just backed straight up. He couldn't afford to do that against these bigger guys.

Well it's fine if you don't care, doesn't take away from the fact a 160lb fighter dropped a 175lb fighter with sparring gear on.

Golovkin at least uses his shoulder and elbow to parry and a smaller amount of lateral movement when he steps back, which Kovalev doesn't. Anyways, as I said, they're hardly 'big guys', the only truly big one is Hopkins at 185cm, to be honest.

According to who? Abel Sanchez? Once again.....irrelevant.

They would look huge next to Golovkin. Carl Froch and Andre Ward would be big for Golovkin and they're 168lbers.

Sanchez, whom trained both fighters at the time. Kovalev also admitted to it in a Russian interview I read a while back. If it never happened I'm sure Kathy, Kovalev etc would have denied or replied. You're only saying it's irrelevant because you don't trust the source.

They would look exactly as their height dictates, people don't magically grow height when they move up in divisions, do they? You are comparing a Golovkin who you've only seen at 160lb, to fighters who are weighing 8-15lb heavier, of course it's hard for you to compare. You need to realize Golovkin would also put on another 15lb.

Believe it or not Froch and Ward are literally the same size as the LHW's in term of height and reach, the only difference is simply added pounds. Crazy, right?

Love Golovking but anyone who picks him doesn't know **** about boxing. 160 to 175 is a giant leap especially for a guy who isn't even a big MW.

                KO/outwork Hopkins

Ask yourself, if GGG looks as good as he does now, and his power, skill and everything else carried up to LHW, how in the hell are any of them going to beat him?

Kovalev pulls straight back with his chin out, I see him getting hooked on the way back and dropping like in the amateurs. He also got dropped in sparring, I mean yeah, it's sparring, but he's a damn LHW.

Stevenson is overrated and would get sparked pretty fast.

Hopkins is too old to deal with the pace and constant stalking of GGG, he either gets caught by a few heavy shots and knocked out (not likely) or gets outworked by the constant pressure and punch output.

In the end, I think Kovalev has the best chance with his power, I just see Golovkin catching him first.
You're ****ing delusional lol. Do you have any idea the difference in size between these men?

I don't know if Kovalev has ever said he's been knocked down but he did say Golovkin is one of the biggest puncher he's ever faced in sparringand said his punches are like "Sledgehammers."

You guys do know that he's been helping kovalev in his camp for the fight vs Hopkins right? That's according to Hopkins and I believe him.

How can you be small for a weight when you've come to the ring 13 lbs heavier?
