If he fights how he's doing right now at 160:

    KO Stevenson
    KO/UD Kovalev
    KO/outwork Hopkins

Ask yourself, if GGG looks as good as he does now, and his power, skill and everything else carried up to LHW, how in the hell are any of them going to beat him?

Kovalev pulls straight back with his chin out, I see him getting hooked on the way back and dropping like in the amateurs. He also got dropped in sparring, I mean yeah, it's sparring, but he's a damn LHW.

Stevenson is overrated and would get sparked pretty fast.

Hopkins is too old to deal with the pace and constant stalking of GGG, he either gets caught by a few heavy shots and knocked out (not likely) or gets outworked by the constant pressure and punch output.

In the end, I think Kovalev has the best chance with his power, I just see Golovkin catching him first.

Why in the world would that fight be good? A 50 year old draining himself 2 divisions, where Golovkin would get zero credit, isn't anything anyone should care about.

Hopkins has his fights at 175. All the 175 fighters have their fights. If Golovkin moves up for a fight, he has Ward at 168. Let's see how that goes first.

The 3 opponents mentioned are infinitely better than anyone he's ever faced.
Plus they'd have a significant size advantage.

Stevenson and Kovalev both stretch Golovkin IMO.

Why are ppl so obsessed with seeing GGG move down or up to fight a big name? How about we see him fight Quillin and Cotto before we send him up in weight class to get beaten by Ward. Why would I want to see GGG fight a small Mayweather who can barely make 150 fighting at 154? It's not always about the names. It's about decent and fair fights.

Stevenson last fight with Fonfara saw him nearly get decked. He looked remarkably bad. Literally one punch from GGG and I see him hit the floor.

In terms of size Golovkin is 179cm, Kovalev is 183, Adonis 180, the only one with a significant size in height is Hopkins at 185. Besides that none are significantly bigger.

Most people have already conceded Golovkin in terms of boxing ability beats Kovalev, with them at the same weight I don't see it any other way. You get decked in sparring by a 160lb fighter as a LHW, you better be worried in a real fight at equal weight.

Larry-tell GGG to drop his nuts and fight at 168 (like he said he would), let alone fight at 175.He would rather swim in the weak MW division and feast on nobodys than deal with the dramas that SMW or LHW would give him.

I think Hopkins (as well as Toney) when he was at MW would really school and degrade Golovkin. Kovalev and Stevenson would smoke his a$$ at 175. It's hard to imagine GGG fighting at LHW when he is hesitant to fight at SMW once Ward called his bluff.

I think Golovkin is a better boxer than Kovalev but in a fight at LHW, Kovalev stretches him. Golovkin won't be able to bully or back him up the way he does with middleweights.

Stevenson would walk Golovkin onto fast power punches that he wouldn't even see coming.

As I said, Fonfara pretty much cracked Stevensons questionable chin, one punch from GGG and it's lights out.

Chavez Jr is 185cm, probably comes in around the same weight as Kovalev (lol) and GGG had zero trouble pushing him around in sparring. I've also never seen Kovalev actually be physical on the inside, have you? He is a medium range fighter who doesn't seem to enjoy close range.

If Golovkin puts Kovalev down in sparring, I'm confident he can make him hesitant of incoming fire. He doesn't need to back him up constantly, just catch him with a nice hook when he's pulling straight back, which he does a lot.
