Because hes untested bro...he should move up where the competition is greater and test his skills @168-75 instead of wanting to fight smaller guys like you know who....

Okay, but he can move down first though right? I mean, it wouldn't make sense to go from 175 to 154 would it? Floyd up for the fight?

Lol talk of a potential GGG/Mayweather match up has Larry shook. Ward and Rigondeaux should spend their entire career in the same weight class doe.

It's not the same. It's not as simple as "going up divisions." Every boxer has a different body and frame and different men hold weight differently. What if hes one of those guys who's excess weight just goes to his hips and thighs??? That would slow him down big time.

If you said 168... OKAY, solid thread. But 175 is two divisions below Heavyweight! We're talking about a 160lber who could be at 154.

Anyway.... GGG will most likely be moving up to 168 once he gets the lineal title so it's not like he wont move up

I don't wanna see GGG-Floyd. That's just ****** so idc, that has nothing to do with me. I'm just saying he's small enough to be ABLE to fight at 154

You and I know that, but Larry is about to have a stroke just thinking about it. He'd love to see Floyd fight Cotto again for the linear MW title. GGG? "Why ain't that dude fighting Kovalev?"

the move up in weight is usually gradual tho. fighters put on weight as they age. golovkin moving up to lightheavy immedietly would be a disaster imo

Hopkins already said he was considering challenging GGG to a fight at 160 after he beats Kovalev. I GUARANTEE you that GGG's team will turn down that fight if offered to them.

TKO/KO Stevenson, goes in war with Kovalev (probably looses, but has a good chance to win), Hopkins beats him.
