Cotto will never win his 40th fight unless he fights a tune up.

I think that recently Cotto has fought with more intelligence than Alvarez. Canelo is the guy that need a solid performance.
I like both fighters, but in my opinion this is a 60/40 fight, in favor of Miguel.

Golovkin KO's him in 8-10 rounds, he's too small but Cotto can fight. Cotto can at least last a little longer than Stevens, Rosado, Proksa and Adama. The height, reach, and power disparity would be too much though. Canelo probably wins a decision.

you're delusional if you think canelo beats him in 4 rounds and are just trying to be inflammatory. i think canelo beats him, but in 4 rounds? the **** outta here.

he gets patterson'd by gloveking (liston) though.

I take that back, I think Cotto would be durable enough to last 10-12 rounds vs GGG, probably succumb in the 11th or 12th like he did with Margarito and Pacquiao.

He has more power because the ref stopped the Angulo fight? Or was it because he KO'd some WW's and JWW's? Cotto has done that too. Canelo is bigger by what... maybe 10 pounds maybe on fight night? Canelo comes in at 170 usually, Cotto came in at 162 on fight night against Martinez. You should know by now that skills pay the bills, Cotto is a better fighter than Canelo size won't matter.

People are really over-exaggerating the win over martinez. Put things in perspective, he beat a guy with one good leg. Cotto is a great boxer but he won't run over Alvarez and I don't think Alvarez runs over Cotto. It am be competitive so all of these mid round KO's on both sides are dumb.

True but Cotto has gone through some beatings, Canelo hasn't. Canelo has a stronger mentality atm. However with McMillan(not Roach), Cotto will improve that cardio, something Canelo doesn't have at a great level.

Canelo has gone through some schoolings. Cotto does not have the ability to do to Canelo what Mayweather, Lara, and Trout did to Canelo. Those 3 schooled him.

I'm a big Cotto fan but it's hard for me to see him beating either as well.

I think he fares better with Canelo than he does GGG, but I'd still have to lean Canelo as much as I hate to admit it. It just feels like, stylistically, Canelo will have the upper hand. And I think GGG beats both of them.

i'd have canelo as slight favorite v cotto. GGG demolishes Miguel
