Cotto is a live dog against Canelo and GGG. I'm honestly almost 50-50 with both fights. If Cotto were still in his perceived prime I bet nobody would be writing him off this easy especially against Canelo. Canelo isn't a better fighter in any facet compared to Cotto he's just young and fresher. GGG hasn't fought any fighter even close to Cotto in the skill and experience department... hell he's yet to beat imo a b class fighter. 160 is a **** division and risk vs reward is why GGG hasn't had imo a legit test to show me he's the real deal. GGG's power is legit but I want to see him fight guys like Cotto, Canelo, Lara, Ward, Froch, etc...

I actually rewatched that Provo fight yesterday and that fight is the definition of an ass kicking. He was out on his feet in rounds 1,2 and 12. Absolute beating.

No he didn't. He only won round 6 and round 8. Winning 2 rounds against Floyd doesn't mean a damn thing. Mosely and Castillo accomplished more against Floyd than Cotto did. Mosely mainly because of the one round where people thought he had him.

Cotto will trade with Canelo until he gets badly hurt then he will move and box. It's been a while since Miguel has fought a puncher like Canelo. Maybe since the Pac fight. I'm not sure if he can take the punches or not. If he can then he will win. He has the better boxing ability and their stamina is equally average.

I think he just wants to keep fighting until he can't go anymore. That is a bad approach for a career that should be close to ending.
