Cotto will never win his 40th fight unless he fights a tune up.

LMAO!
OP is a certified King Cotto hater and his threads are trash and zero contribution but pursue his agenda of hating Cotto.
Anyhow, there is NO WAY in HELL that King Cotto losses vs Alvarez, as matter of fact, most likely Miguel will stop Canelo <10 rounds.
vs. GGG Ill give 3G the edge but Cotto will be the best he has EVER faced and I would not be surprised if Miguel comes on top.
You're pretty much the Canelo version of ts, which makes your post even more ironic. Grow up son.Comment

Cotto has lost, been beaten down, and been outboxed by lesser fighter. Alvarez has just as great a chance of beating him as Cotto does. I don't understand why he suddenly has acquired this aura of invincibility

Darn bro' I dont go out making five threads a day hating on Canelo. Just because I have pointed out or discussed Canelo's record or "controversial" decisions does not mean that I hate on the guy. I have said several times that Alvarez has potential, and once he steps up his game he will continue to rise as a super star.
OP on the other hand, has a different agenda. You might not be on Brush's level, but you're up there. You allude to him as "Giftanelo" and call him the biggest hypejob in the sport, but I guess you still see potential

I am very confident he beats Canelo, and I'll go one step further and state right now that he stops Canelo in 6.
However, it will be hard for me to watch GGG-Cotto as I'm a big fan of both. I'd rather see GGG beat the **** out of Canelo... But hey, if Cotto it is then I'll just enjoy a hell of a war.
but i feel the exact same way i rather watch ggg destroy canelo than cottoComment

Cotto most resume wins are overrated

loss to pacquiaio
win over clottey, the guy that doesnt want to fight
win over michael "wtf are you " jenningsComment

Fantastic... please tell me how you know the mental state of each fighter. Canelo's coming off the Lara performance and Cotto is coming off dominating the MW champion. I'm not going to say either guy has a mental advantage because I don't know. The beatings mean nothing Cotto is fresh at least physically, his chin is forever damaged because of the beatings, but that's why I gave that advantage to Canelo. It's really the only advantage he has and possible power, but I think they're about even there also.Last edited by Beater_of_ass; 10-24-2014, 09:43 AM.Comment

It may not have been planned as one but it still ended up being one. With Sergio's knees in that condition, the experience from Cotto's end was equivalent to a mock training camp or tuneup against some bum. He took zero damage and didn't have to cut more than a few lbs.
That's from a logical standpoint. From the business standpoint I guess it counts as a "big win" because of the name value and belt, but there's no reason for a "tune up".Last edited by ////; 10-24-2014, 09:49 AM.Comment
