Cotto will never win his 40th fight unless he fights a tune up.

Sherman is exactly what's wrong with sports and the media these days. Nobody cared about him or said he was the best until he got in front of the camera and started screaming like a damn fool. Now he's on the cover of Madden. Smh and then ppl wonder why being humble gets u no where like Ward for example and being a loud mouth like Floyd gets u $30 million dollar ppv fights.

I think a more appropriate question for your poll is, "When will GGG stop fighting tuneups?" GGG has fought 31 tuneups so far. Cotto had already fought the best fighters at 140 and 147 by the time he fought his 31st fight. He didn't wait for some fighter from 135 to move up to fight him. He moved up himself.

So, how many fights will GGG have to have before he steps up to take on the biggest challenge out there like Cotto did?

Here's an appropriate question, Why are all the good fighters ducking GGG, Why is the competition ducking GGG? Because they are scared. GGG will eventually get his first loss to ward but before that fight happens, GGG Will be the biggest name in boxing and will be the first name that is talked about when anyone talks about the sport of boxing. Then the Pride of the Bay Area will master class him and will show everyone that he is not done and that a long layoff doesn't mean anything when it comes to the talent that he has.

Because that is the way the sports world works. And there is nothing we as fans can do about it.

Fantastic... please tell me how you know the mental state of each fighter. Canelo's coming off the Lara performance and Cotto is coming off dominating the MW champion. I'm not going to say either guy has a mental advantage because I don't know. The beatings mean nothing Cotto is fresh at least physically, his chin is forever damaged because of the beatings, but that's why I gave that advantage to Canelo. It's really the only advantage he has and possible power, but I think they're about even there also.
Lara and Trout have Much better boxing ability than Cotto. Trout proved it in the ring. Trout vs Cotto was not a close fight. I agree with Adalaide Byrd's scorecard. I only gave Cotto round 9.

I think Cotto takes Canelo. I like Golovkin, but since he hasn't been in the ring with anyone who is even as skilled as Cotto, I think Cotto gives him a run for him money. I agree, Golovkin looks spectacular when fighting cab drivers and tomato cans, but the question in my mind is, when he steps in the right with an elite fighter, does he still look that good?

And Cotto proved he's 4 times the boxer Canelo's is by how much better he did against Floyd. So, your prediction like your scorecard are wrong.

                    Floyd vs Cotto: 10-2

                    Trout vs Cotto: 11-1
