Uhh...the Golovkin-Froch fight doesn't bring the money for the purses that the fight would command either. It's the exact same situation.

He wants to be compensated for losing, and indeed perhaps being knocked out. Again that is fair enough but if that is the case, and it is, then he cannot also claim he will fight anyone regardless (within reason).

Nobody is ducking Ward at this stage, Ward is a non-entity until he sorts out his promotional problems.
So why did Golovkin's team reject the notion of a Ward fight out of hand due to "financial sense"?

What Froch wants to do is fight in Las Vegas, Chavez is the only viable PPV fight there.

Did they? Ward is perhaps the fight i'd most like to see Golovkin in, besides beating the **** out of Mayweather, but right now Ward is on the sidelines. Ward is not an option for anyone until he sorts his promotional stuff out.

I'm not sure about that, unless Froch needs to be paid outsized for the massive risk he'd be taking. GGG's purse would be a fraction of Froch's.

Duh, cause neither guy is in a position to make a satisfactory offer.

What the Golovkin fight offers is unsatisfactory to Froch considering what he can get elsewhere. Are you dense?

Thats is fine. He wants to fight in Las Vegas more than he wants to face the toughest opponent out there for him. Good for him. Maybe he could acquire a date to headline a singing gig at Las Vegas too. Perhaps he could start up a new rat pack.

Understood, it's more risk than a Degale fight. Like Team Froch say, it's a horrible, dangerous, career threatening fight.
