we can pick apart any fighters resume or say they didn't fight this person or that, but the truth its not possible for a fighter to fight all the good fights.

Also it should not take away from what they have done

Mayweather-Corrales was huge, as was Mayweather-Hatton both were undefeated, the DLH fight was huge even though both were past prime

To say a fighter who has accomplished so much has not had legacy fights is pretty ignorant.

Mayweather not fighting Pacquaio, or Tszyu shouldn't take way from who Floyd did beat

Robinson not fighting Burley, Holman Williams, Cocoa Kid, Bert Lytell didn't take from his

Nor did the color barrier take away from Jack Dempsey's
Yea because corrales and hatton were world beaters and rarely lost a fight. Name the prime, elite welterweight fighter that defines floydies legacy?

Whenever Oscar fights speedy/crafty fighters, he tries to throw a whole bunch of amateurish flurries. Oscar was overrated!! He had a good jab because he is left handed and fought in a conventional stand; however, nothing comes from the right hand after the jab. Unless the fighters he fights against are flat-footed brawlers, he is not knocking no one out.

I followed this dude from Barcelona Olympics, I took sympathy to him when he said he wanted the gold medal for his mom. Oscar has never beaten another top fighter. He beat belt holders not top fighters.
Yes because hatton was a beast at 147 lbs, JMM was a beast at 135 lbs, oh wait he had to move up two weight classes and got cheated on the scales, victor ortiz, robert guerrero, marcos maidana where all top tier fighters.

Leonard fought terry Norris in '91 and from 1987 to 91 he fought 5 times....Nunn and McCallum(champion since 1984) were champions during that time so there is no excuse

you cant fight everyone...they didn't...Floyd didn't so what

Since Mayweather has been the face of boxing he has participated in 2 of the biggest fights ever(Canelo and DLH)...EVER....Mayweather has won all his big fights unlike ODLH and is world champion at 147 and 154 at the same time defending both....none of them did that

No harm done all of them are great but don't try to minimize things he has done in his career when he has done things none of them have...4 lineal titles, has defeated more world champions than all of them, whatever the case your agenda wont change things that actually did happen.
Please explain how this is impressive? All that this shows, is corruption at the WBA/WBC. Any other fighter, other than maybe Pacquiao, would have had 1 or 2 of those titles stripped after the mandatories weren't enforced.

I won't deny that he's the no.1 ranked titleholder at 147, and the lineal champion at 154, those are impressive things to be. But claiming that hes proving to be better or whatever because he's unified both at 147/154 still is ******, as those titles are not being stripped due to corruption..

        • DLH will just have to keep on living with the fact that he had his chance and blew it ! all he had to do was throw more punches, instead he got ****** into that waiting game and got popped in the mouth once and lost the fight, now he still has to put up with Floyds lip service but is in no kind of shape to retaliate, Floyd would just spit in his face while asking him WHAT YOU GONNA DO !! must be a ***** putting up with that ****, I would have shot Floyd by now.

Why does it have to be a welterweight fight that defines his legacy? He did start at super feather after all...

              How did Floyd duck Wright?

Wright turned down a career pay day against Floyd.

If Floyd had Oscar's mentality of truly fighting the best, we wouldn't of gotten lame ass fights like Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana, etc.
i know people of all races that think that was a gift lol its not just black eyes that saw it

Floyd's net worth is more then Oscar's.

                  • I hate when fighters use age as an excuse of why they lost to someone, it just makes them look like a sore loser. Ali was in his 30's when he beat a younger stronger Foreman. He was in his late 30's for the thrilla in manila & spinks II.

Bottom line is, if you are better you will win. Oscar is just looking for an excuse because he lost to Floyd and was completely outclassed, same would have happened when he was 28. FLoyd is a better fighter then oscar ever was, so oscar should just take the L lol how is he talking smack like over 5 years later, he must be a really sore loser tbh

                    • Not an excuse......

It's not an excuse. How long have you been watching boxing? Norris gets KO'ed against, even a 30 yr old Leonard. Prime Holyfield beats Lewis up and stops him. Prime Whitaker wins a decision against Tito. Prime Ali beats Holmes. Prime De La Hoya KO's Manny and decisions Mayweather. So again, how long have you been watching boxing? If Floyd was in his prime, Maidana doesn't win three rounds against him. PERIOD.
