No damn one-handed fighter is going to beat a prime Floyd. All who think Oscar beats Floyd should stop watch boxing. Whenever Oscar fights speedy/crafty fighters, he tries to throw a whole bunch of amateurish flurries. Oscar was overrated!! He had a good jab because he is left handed and fought in a conventional stand; however, nothing comes from the right hand after the jab. Unless the fighters he fights against are flat-footed brawlers, he is not knocking no one out.

I followed this dude from Barcelona Olympics, I took sympathy to him when he said he wanted the gold medal for his mom. Oscar has never beaten another top fighter. He beat belt holders not top fighters.

OSCAR IN HIS PRIME WITH 8OZ GLOVES WOULD HAVE LAND A LEFT HOOK DEADLY FOR SURE instead Floyd couldn't hurt OSCAR also with tons of xylocaine in his hands!

Another useless "What if" article. Oscar after almost a decade is still bitter that he and the best fighter he had lost to Floyd. Please move on Oscar.

You probably didn't follow boxing back then but Bob Arum promoted both guys....Mayweather was established, Cotto was still being groomed at that point....they were not gonna fight him before 2008.

So do you think its a coincidence that he fought Cotto soon as he left Arum, as did ODLH when Floyd left Arum?

some people on here have revisionist history
Dudes hands were ****ed up and nagging injuries plus, again if you actually followed boxing and are sitting here quoting did you know that Mayweather said he would retire when he was 30 waaaay back in the 90's.

I know it doesn't support your personal agenda but stick with facts and not your fabricated reality.
Good to know, again, what year did floydie retire? I like when people use arum as an excuse. If floydie NEVER wanted to work with arum, why was there negotiations with a pac fight WELL AFTER he came back from retirement?

Leonard fought terry Norris in '91 and from 1987 to 91 he fought 5 times....Nunn and McCallum(champion since 1984) were champions during that time so there is no excuse

you cant fight everyone...they didn't...Floyd didn't so what

Since Mayweather has been the face of boxing he has participated in 2 of the biggest fights ever(Canelo and DLH)...EVER....Mayweather has won all his big fights unlike ODLH and is world champion at 147 and 154 at the same time defending both....none of them did that

No harm done all of them are great but don't try to minimize things he has done in his career when he has done things none of them have...4 lineal titles, has defeated more world champions than all of them, whatever the case your agenda wont change things that actually did happen.
its sad that you defend floydie defend his 154 lbs belt against a WW fighter.

Leonard "fought everyone" is a myth.....no fighter has
Thats complete nonsense and you know it. Mike tyson for one pretty much fought everybody. Barring his personal troubles as the reason why some fights wasn't made early. ****, even rocky marciano fought everyone from young to older fighters.

again....no fighter has fought everyone....Sugar Ray Robinson was the face of boxing but did he fight Charley Burley who was a top ten middleweight and welterweight for most of the 40's? or Aaron Wade, Cocoa Kid, or any of the black muderers row? were they not contemporary rivals?

Boxing isn't perfect but the problem with some people on this forum is they spend too much time saying a fighter didn't do this or that, with out even recognizing the things they have done.
Why are you so adamant about winky wright and oscar when it was floydie who ducked winky wright?
