at 24 it's alright, it's not manny pacquiao level but it's pretty good

Best win is against Lara,
A 24 year old had Lara running to the point that Lara was not even throwing, there were times when Lara literally turned around with his BACK TOWARDS CANELO, and freaken ran the opposite way. It was humiliating, even hard to watch at times.Comment

I think his resume is outstanding for his age..
He has been guided well by his handlers, taking a 15 year old and keeping him active and slowly increasing the level of the competition..
Some may complain about the lack of quality opponents has he moved up the ladder but you gotta remember he was a teenager and being 20 yrs old and beating guys like baldomir, Rhodes, n'dou, hatton is perfect for a young fighter and is much better than the guys that wilder or Russell jr, etc has fought...
Canelo's level of competition has been super since he fought at the world class level..
Fighting undefeated trout in a unification
Undefeated Floyd for Unification
Rugged angulo
Tricky Lara
In four straight fights is a very impressive feat.. Regardless if the fights were close with Lara and trout, no way can they be considered robberies..
They are what they are, outcomes which really don't enhance a legacy/resume..Comment

So Leonard gets no credit for beating hagler
Duran gets no credit for beating Leonard
Holyfield gets no credit for beating bowe
Roy jones gets no credit for beating tarver
It's absurd to think a guy doesn't get credit just because the win was close..Comment

He IS in his prime, every fighter hits their prime differently. Some guys peak at 24, others at 30, some at 35, ect. It's worth noting that he went pro at a very young age, I don't see Canelo fighting much into his 30's to be honest.Comment

I think were going to see the best Canelo at 160.
25, 26, and 27 will be his prime years IMO.Comment

I wouldn't go as far as to say they dont enhance his legacy. But they do put it into perspective.Comment
