Kazuto Ioka is another one. And throught out history, there have been plenty who have achieved more with less experience and at a younger age. Not sure why this is shocking.

      He's on the right track..........

His resume thus far is fine. He's on the right track and isn't afraid to fight ANYONE; that is rare for today. He is everything right for the sport. Win, lose, or draw, he comes to fight. Ask Lara.

Can't believe you got one, .

Who's talking about history? All the fighters used to fight the top competition at a young age like Canelo does. Canelo is one of the last of a dying breed. A throwback fighter.

I give him props for not being a duck like other top fighters.

His resume is decent, I had the Trout fight a draw and I had Canelo losing the Lara fight by a point or 2.

I think he's going to be a better fighter at once he moves up to middleweight. Draining down to 154/155 and gaining close to 20 pounds overnight is not good for you. At 24 years old he still hasn't filled out entirely yet either.

It's very good. It's quickly getting better too.

This time two year ago, his best win was probably Ryan Rhodes or Shane Mosley. Now it's Erislandy Lara.

A 33 year old should be able to hurt an 18 year old. He hasn't been seriously hurt since then.

It's very good considering his age and the fact that a lot of other fighters aren't facing the toughest guys in their division.

I don't even understand some of the criticism of Canelo. Trout and Lara both hadn't been defeated legitimately at the time they faced Canelo. A close fight should've been expected.

Trout had just finished beating Cotto and people said Canelo would avoid him.
Lara was on a run and people said Canelo would avoid him. Canelo stepped up to the plate and he has my respect for that.

He fought Jose Miguel Cotto when he was 19. Why do people still bring that up?

C Level fighters have bested both Lara and Trout......................

Let me break down his resume............Canelo's resume is frivolous he has a blatant gift vs Tyner people seem to want to ignore, he struggled and underwhelmed vs Hatton, nearly got dropped by Jose Cotto and expect him to beat Miguel, he got bloodied and outworked to the finish line by a completely shot Mosley, Trout win was contested, he got beat into a fetal position by a small WW and quit basically vs Floyd, GB ****ery saved him when the fight started vs Angulo, and he nearly lost Lara who was only throwing like 10 punches a round........................

His names mean nothing he's all smoke and mirrors, plus from watching him closely his power is suspect, he aint have at WW and he only really showed it vs a JWW in Lopez..........

Bottom line is he's a completely average fighter, and his tape proves this time and time again
U sound like a idiot to the max. Ur probably the type that goes to work on a Friday and tell ur Co workers how ur excited to watch the Mayweather fight on saturday and then at the same time ask someone that knows boxing, "yo whos that dude he's fighting? Is he good?"
