why would cotto fight on cinco de mayo in NYC when one month later is the PR day parade? Cinco de Mayo isn't a huge weekend in NYC.

I don't know if he is the guy to call the shots but one thing is certain...

Him and his team go around repeating over and over about how they call the shots. That's all I hear.

Whatever Team Cotto said about being able to dictate terms doesn't change the fact this is realistically their best fight available. Again Mayweayher won't happen because Arum would be involved, he has the same trainer as Manny and the weight issue won't be resolved. GGG , well that's obviously not happening because he doesn't sell according to Roach.
Floyd has no choice who he fights next, at least to a certain extent. CBS and NBC honchos had talks about making the Manny fight, Floyd is not his own boss his daddies at Showtime are. Floyd is not smarter than a massive corporation like CBS and a $200 million deal over 3 years didn't just happen without someone making sure CBS had some ways out of it or leverage over Floyd. I'm sure they were okay with Floyd fighting anybody if they were making money, they're losing money now and that isn't going to fly anymore. If a fight with Manny happens Arum will be involved Floyd has no choice, it'll be the same in a Cotto rematch and that's assuming Cotto has a long-term deal with them in place which no one really knows.

Floyd/Cotto 2 will happen with Arum involved if Showtime says that's who Floyd has to fight next or they just drop him from that contract. A condition of any contract is living up to your end of the deal, for CBS it's paying him $32 million a fight. For Floyd's its delivering PPV buys and he hasn't been doing that so Showtime has the leverage.

what evidence do you have that they are losing money? Floyd has delivered about 4.7 mil ppv's since May 2013.

There's more evidence, reports, that he delivered 4.7 million, than reports showing that Showtime is losing money.

ppv sales reported-that's why I said about-the numbers from Mayhem have not been confirmed. I'm not counting 925k either.

If you review CBS quarterly earnings reports in 2013-Showtime has been profitable because of the increased subscriptions. Ray Donovan and Homeland surely contributed to the subscriptions more than Floyd. that said, each report notes the profit from ppv's.

I think its been proven that SHowtime is not losing money.

And since June 2013 he's only had 2.5 million buys with a $96 million purse during that time. After the cable companies take half you know what that leaves... $93 million. They lost $3 million (Showtime) and they didn't even cover Floyd's purse in that time they were $3 million short, stop bringing up the Canelo fight because you forgot about the Guerrero fight before that which cost Showtime money as well. We haven't even paid any undercard fights which are NOTORIOUSLY expensive for Haymon. Showtime is losing money, no amount of spin can change that Dunn.

I just proved it below you, and that was at the highest reported buy rate for Floyd and assuming every purchase was HD and $75 which they most certainly aren't. Showtime has lost money based on numbers, it's a fact. Let's assume they break even, if that why Showtime made the deal to just have Floyd on Showtime so they wouldn't make any money at all? Floyd owe's his daddies at Showtime you'll see by who he fights next.

Spin. Dude you make no sense and look absolutely ******ed. CBS has released their quarterly earnings reports as required by law. here is the 4th quarter 2013 report below.

CBS Q4 earnings up 19% as ad sales increase and cable operators pay more for its shows.

CBS clearly states showtime is profitable. Are they lying?

Where is your evidence other than your opinion? I haven't seen the 2014 reports so maybe they may reveal something else. How about you support your opinion with something tangible.
