so hilarious. TBE just fought maidana twice! yes, the best eva fought maidana who became big by beating a hype job named broner, who struggled against malignaggi and taylor. yes, taylor, the guy who algieri beat with ease. haha...

what a mess froidweather did to boxing.

Floyd may be favored but Floyd is not taking it because it would be a risky fight. Health comes first. Floyd wants a watered down version of Manny. So that is why there is still a chance this fight happens.

        but

Most say that Floyd is reluctant to fight Manny. You ask other fighters and they say the same.

Yep the guys that know more about them than anybody else ALL pick Floyd , a lot of weight in that , not one picks Manny .

Tell Arum to step aside and the fight would be on , why dont you do that why waste energy just bashing Floyd he is the A side and the A side dictates just like Manny dictated to Cotto Algeiri Rios and everybody else , Manny has always been a pain in the ass to negotiate with , this time he is the B- side and Floyd is the A+ side .

Why do you side with Arum when he is the biggest roadblock of all .

                - undefeated
                - young and prime
                - coming off big win against provodnikov (people didn't mind pac vs provo before)
                - tall and rangy pure boxer (has a 5" height advantage)
                - good movement and jab
                - good ring IQ
                - good heart (was knocked down hard and had his eye swollen shut against provo but still managed to pull off the win)
                - is very hungry and has the desire to win and be on top
                - very likable/magnetic personality
                - american rocky story hero
                - eloquent speaker
                - properly groomed
                - very humble and down to earth

                also consider that

                - pac is way past his prime
                - was knocked out cold not too long ago
                - doesn't have the same aggression and pressure he had in his prime (only way to beat algieri is by pressuring him non stop)
                - pac is slower

i dare anyone to refute these 100% true facts.
and he is a white DEVIL to Chinese psyche, who is BIG, young strong BULL battling an Asian in MACAU, Arums a genius trying everything to stir up and eventually opening up that sleeping giant market for boxing.

Maidana - WBA Welter Weight Champion/ 2 division champion, 5 previous fights at welterweight, coming off the biggest win of his career.

Canelo - WBC/WBA Jr Middleweight Champion, Undefeated and coming off of a great win vs Trout, Last 11 fights were at Jr Middleweight and all but one of his fights were fought below Welterweight.

Guerrero - Interim WBC welterweight Champion, 4 division Champ, coming off a big win, 2 previous fights at welterweight.

Cotto - WBA jr Middleweight Champion, 3 division champ, 3 previous fights at Jr Middleweight

                  Pac's last 5 opponents

Algeri - WBO Jr Welterweight Champ, coming off of the biggest win of his career over Provo. 0 fights at WW

Bradley rematch - WBO champ, 2 division champ, last 3 fights at WW.

Rios - 2 division champ, coming off of a loss, fought 2 times at jr welterweight, 0 fights at welterweight.

Marquez - WBO interim light welterweight champ, 3 division champ, 2 previous fights at WW both loses.

Bradley - WBO light Welterweight Champ, Undefeated, previous fight at Light welterweight.

Maidana wasn't even in the radar until Maidana beat a guy that fought 3 divisions below him a little over a year earlier and went down to 140 after that. Maidana lost to Devon, a boxer, so the writing was on the wall. They promoted Maidana as a KO artist but then took away the gloves that he prefers to KO his opponents. SO it was Maidana that did better than Floyd expected. Some cherries can go bad.
For the 2nd fight, they added a ref that didn't allow in-fighting. Huge ring. A judge that gave Maidana little credit in the first as a judge in the 2nd

Canelo: Floyd Sr laughed. Said he has no experience, and knew about Canelo's stamina issues, fights flat-footed and low work rate. "Floyd jr is aware of Canelo's weaknesses and he is going to take advantage of that"

Guerrero: "WHo is Guerrero? WHo has he fought? I'm no Berto" - Floyd

Cotto: Lost in 2 huge wars. Then beat an opponent with a bum knee. Beat an opponent that had one good eye. Beat another who had lots of bark but no bite left in him. Fight happened like 5 years and several wars too late for Cotto.

You can't say anything bad about Manny's opponents except for his upcoming one since nobody knows Algieri. Algieri is the same formula that Floyd throws at us. The opponent is not even in the radar until that one win against a hyped up opponent and then Floyd sells it to his fans and they fall for it every single time!

I did and Cotto said he was a sitting duck at 145 and no trainer. He also said he laughed his ass off when Manny asked him to go down to 143 for the fight.
