Arum has made many big fights in his life. Why would he not want Manny to fight Floyd? Secondly, Floyd is even admitting that Manny wants it and says that he is desperate. Roach is desperate. They all desperately want the fight except for Floyd ...... Floyd has been a broken record and telling you that he is his own boss and can make any fight happen if he wishes for it. Floyd has said that he is not interested in Manny. He said so on numerous times.

FLoyd just uses roadblocks as excuses. You just parroting what Floyd says except when Floyd says

BTW: Just because you come in unofficially on fight night at the WW limit does not really make you a WW. Manny was coming close to that when he fought at 130. That still made him a 130 fighter NOT a WW fighter.

Provodnikov was a highly hyped HBO fighter who had beaten Alvarado and given Bradley hell, and Algieri absorbed all his hype when he beat him.

Nobody knows who Abregu is, at all. They went with the highest money fight.

Just about ALL of Manny's fans are disappointed with this fight. Not only does he not deserve it from his recent "performances" or "skill", but he's just another pretty boy rich kid with an easy life who doesn't need the money as much as other struggling fighters do. Fighters that put it all on the line and go to WAR.

This fight just stinks of Bob Arum. Like he is trying to build up another "undefeated American fighter" and make him a "star" using Manny's name. I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up like the robbery that was Pac-Bradley 1.

Marquez didn't want a 5th fight
Floyd preferred Khan or Maidana instead of Manny.

I think if Manny beats Algieri, I can see future fights against GB fighters. So Manny's options will be better in 2015.
