Are you insinuating that those two punches are exactly the same? That's your first mistake. And yes, Pac recovered. Just not until after he was KO'd.

Point being two different punches, two different fight, different jaws, landed in different places (not EXACTLY the same spot.)

    Two complete different situations.

I'm not saying that Floyd would have gotten KO'd after that punch. I'm saying we will never know how that would have played out because the bell rung and Mayweather got 30+ seconds to shake it off, which he did very well.

Mosley caught Floyd with a series of better punches with a lot of time left in the round.. Floyd just has an iron clad chin that's all.. He doesn't lift all those weights with his neck in camp all these years for nothing...

Floyd is very, very good defensively. And many folks here simply cannot understand that, even though they know this on the surface. Maidana did in fact press the attack various times during Round 4, but he just couldn't land. And this is including times Bayless allowed in-fighting on the ropes.

In fact, if it would happened with at least 30 seconds left, Maidana would have finished floyd with the cushioned powerlocks.

This is what will be remembered from this fight.
I would say Floyd beating Chino's ass delirious and having to assist him to the right corner in between rounds was a lil more memorable than one good punch.

You're absolutely right. Floyd was hurt, Bayless knew, and allowed Chino to fight his fight and gave him every opportunity to finish a woozy Floyd in the 4th.

It's funny all the excuses people have. Do they not realise by now that for every 12 punches Maidana throws when Floyd is on the ropes, maybe only 1 or 2 of them will land. And usually not even landing cleanly.

Even Team Garcia admitted this much before the fight on All-Access. When will people learn?

I thought Maidana landed more clean shots on Floyd Sat than he did in the first fight.

Are you referring to Floyd being a great defensive fighter with the bolded statement above? Because if you are, then it's a weird comment since I don't think anyone here doubts Floyd is a great defensive fighter.

Outside of the punch at the end of the third round, no way.
