It was the way Maidana execute that shot that got me impress. But then again I was surprise Maidana walked into the wrong corner at the end of the 9th round, it was funny seeing Mayweather telling him where is corner was.

The punch that Maidana landed on Floyd at the end of the 3rd reminded me of the KO that Marquez landed on Manny, slipping the punch and throwing the counter right at the same time, almost exactly tbh with you, however, I've always known Floyd has an above average chin, and I'm a huge Floyd fan, but standing and trading with Maidana would not have been smart, he's not a brawler, he's a boxer. Floyd is slowing down, we all see it, it's just not as noticeable, but it's there. A Floyd who fought Marquez would have danced circles around Maidana............2 more fights is good for me, just make them interesting matchups worth watching for your last two! Manny would make me happy, but I'll always believe even if they don't fight that Floyd would have beat them at any point in their careers.

I don't care how "intense" he was or wasn't. He didn't land clean punches in the first fight and he landed cleanly in the rematch. I'm sure Floyd's different strategy and Bayless' s officiating had something to do with Chino's intensity, or lack thereof. But he didn't come out throwing as many punches from the jump. I think they were concerned about his stamina. Which IMO was a mistake because swamping Floyd with activity was his only chance. So being fresher late wasn't gonna matter unless they thought there was a chance at a stoppage late.

Floyd's chin is criminally underrated.

That was a monster shot: didn't see incoming and right on the button. Floyd lost his bearings but recuperated well.

Floyd doesn't get hit hard often but when he does, handles it like a pro.

Mayweather knows gloves like no one esle. That Powerlock foam cushions even when getting hit by a bus. With MX horse hair gloves there's no abosortion and he would have been KO. The guy's a genius. Safety first indeed.
