The Argentine fans in attendance flew into a frenzy when Marcos Maidana hit Floyd Mayweather Jr. with a big right hand, right on the button, at the end of third round last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The punch came at the bell and Mayweather's legs wobbled, causing him to stumble back a few steps. It was the first, and only time, where Maidana clearly hurt Mayweather in their 24 rounds of fighting each other.

And maidana wouldve lost the fight seeing that it was AFTER the bell, and he bit floyd, tried to knee him in the nuts in the first fight. But this is acceptable in boxing according to some. you guys are a disgrace to boxing. and Maidana got to wear 8oz gloves, after all the arguing now it was the wrong 8oz gloves. lol

I remember after the last fight some people said "Maidana countered the pull counter and if it landed on the chin and not the rest he'd have been asleep" well that was it right there and he wasn't asleep..

That said, I'm surprised how well he took it. If he got knocked out there it would have been eerily similar to Roy Jones, right in the corner aswell.

Fathertime??? A prime Floyd got caught by Zab, Corley, Mosley with much harder shots...like he said it was a good shot he bounced back. That is that. Gloves had nothing to do with it. Mayweather has always had a good chin. He gave chino credit ok Chino just like the rest got his ass whooped the rest of the fight. Yes he is slowing but no fighter can beat him still right now.
