Anybody catch when Garcia was yelling In The corner (not sure what round, maybe halfway through) at chino in Spanish "NO DIGAS ESO" which translates to "DONT YOU SAY THAT" I was thinking maybe maidana was either tired or frustrated.

Haters are going to hate. Facts are facts Manny got hit with the same exact punch to the tee by a 140 pounder and was flatlined. Floyd took it from a fighter weighing 160lbs and took it and unlike chino walked to the right corner lol...

Maidana has never knocked out anyone above C level

Most higher level fighters are harder to knock out. Keith Thurman hasn't knocked out anybody above C level either but it doesn't mean he can't punch.


When you hurt or stop most of the people you fight, C level or not, you're punching hard. Of course it gets more difficult when you fight boxers who are better and not easily knocked out. If it was so easy to knock out lower tier ranked fighters, everybody would be doing it.

Maidana is a good fighter, not a great fighter, but he can punch and change a fight with one punch and he has shown that.
