floyd showed a very good chin. maidana didn't hit him a ton, but when he did, floyd composed himself quickly and got back to work.

    tjhat;'s what the greats do.

      Mosley enough said.

Can anyone tell me what was going on with Maidana? He went to the wrong corner twice even Floyd had to tell him where to go. Was he tired? drained?

Floyd's chin is pretty damn good.

i'd argue that shane looked to hurt him more, and was a bigger puncher. that said, corley hit him with an odd shot, and it hurt him.

corley has hurt quite a few guys. he rocked cotto back in the day, too. bothered marcos maidana, iirc. underrated puncher. strange, strange fighter.

But at the end of the day

that's part of being a true champion

a true champion can dig deep and get the job done

            Maidana is a tough competitor

            A young hungry lion

I take my hat off to him

I'd like to thank Al Haymon.

Definitely arguable I won't disagree there. That shot Shane landed was huge. Floyd seemed to recover quite quickly as opposed to Corley he seemed not fully recovered for abit when he was standing toe to toe.

I actually really like Corley. He's a decent fighter, good boxer. His fight with Zab as boring as it was could have gone either way, he hurt Floyd, Cotto like you said. I actually felt he beat Maidana aswell.

Was great to see him come to the UK as an underdog and stop Paul Mcloskey in his hometown. I still can't believe that Eddie Hearn invested time and money trying to push that guy.

It's actually really hard to judge if Floyd was hurt or not. Had it been another corner so we could see him walk back, and we would have had the answer.
