Not sure what Haymon could possibly do here. This was a mando ordered to purse bid that Roc Nation won. When Lara (Haymon) vs Vanes was ordered and top rank won the purse bid that fight was on HBO. He can't ask for more money since the purse has already been settled via the purse bid. OOnly thing Haymon could do is advise Peter to refuse to sign and be stripped which would be ******ed.

I think the beef is with gbp/haymon. Don't think HBO is interested in it since it'll cost them money they don't have

Might be a network dispute. Saw this

The uic showtime card is still on on showtime.... This is a conflict with showtime/haymon. Maybe jroc nation is trying to screw haymon over.... Jesus if that's it. Has to be on HBO or espn or something

When the fight is finalized, it will be a very interesting match and it will be finalized.

I understand the business side is very important. And HBO does deserve to rot for turning their back on American fighters. But sometimes you just have to put your hands up and fight. Quillin needs to sign the contract, put his hands up and fight.

Turning their back on American fighters??? Wtf are you talking about. You're one of the most delusional posters on here.

YEAH because putting TOP fighters from across the sport in a global sport on their network in the best possible fights means they're turning their backs on American fighters.

Seriously, something's wrong with you. Log off and get some sunshine. There's no conspiracy here.

The ratings tell another story. American fans are not tuning like they used to. But I'm sure HBO appreciates that fans from other countries who do not even subscribe to HBO appreciate their strategy.

Its clearly a network issue. Haymon needs this to happen on Sho if it does happen:

                    Eric at GBP clearly stated:

"there are also concerns from Al about the TV because Peter is a Showtime fighter and he's trying to figure out the TV. It is a concern if you are a manager who has a fighter who fights regularly on Showtime and all of a sudden you are on a different network. There's something out there known as an image. There is some concern there. But the money is great."

As far as I know, Pete doesn't have an exclusive contract... But HBO most likely wants nothing to do with him if he doesn't fight ggg.
I roc nation keeps it nov 1, it only intensifies the problems since sho already has a fight for then
