People need to realise that grants are not always pillows lol, the one that Mayweather uses are Orthopedic version of grants and they are basically pillows (Mayweather uses them to protect his brittle hands).


Grants produces its very own Puncher's gloves (GGG uses them and Khan also used them in his last fight) and they are made from same horse skin material as Everlast and Reyes, Grants Puncher's gloves are actually pretty good.

Yeah but we're talking about guys who didn't use Grants before then suddenly used them to fight Floyd. I doubt he forced them to use the puncher model.

If you hit hard, Floyd makes u use gloves with more padding. I've always said that had Pacquiao agreed to osdt the first time around that Floyd would have came up with something else to block the fight from happening. He would have not allowed PAC to use Reyes gloves after seeing what he did to Cotto. And that probably would have blocked the fight. Floyd's p*ssy. TBE makes guys who have some kinda power use gloves with more padding. Dude makes boxing look so soft. Smh

I think Shane changed gloves on his own for some reason. I recall an interview saying he tried on the Grant gloves and really liked the fit/feel of them after the Margarito fight (which he wore reyes).

Robert Guerrero was coming up from lightweight and doesn't really have any pop. He was allowed to wear Reyes by Floyd....

He would've picked Cotto's too if it was just any other fighter. Just because he has a contract with them, apparently Mayweather's influence overrides it. Maidana has an Everlast contract and he offered to wear Reyes.

I don't consider him a puncher. I'd feel pretty safe knowing he was in the ring with Khan. That's my litmus test for punchers.

He put down Berto twice. The second KD looked like he even thumbed Berto in the eye. For what it's worth only two other big fighters put him down Ortiz and Karrass. Also, look at the 12th round where Guerrero had Berto on wobbly legs and ready to put him down again right at the bell.

Yes, he did show power against Berto. So much so that I wondered if he was on drugs for that fight. Victor Ortiz didn't even give Berto that kind of beating and he's known to be a big puncher. He knocked down Berto very early in the fight kinda easily, then shut one of his eyes a round later, then shut another one of his eyes and knocked him down again. That's more than just mauling. Also, Berto is very strong. And yet, Guerrero was pushing him around like nothing, bullying him.

Khan shouldn't feel safe with Guerrero without random drug testing in place. Keep in mind, Guerrero doesn't give a **** to be dirty too. He intentionally tried to headbutt Aydin but missed. I can't imagine what he'd do to Khan. Guerrero is a wild card. No telling which version is going to show up.

I'm sure that there are plenty of things in the contracts that give him advantages that we probably don't know about. But that is just the way it usually is with the A-side.

Until we get a commission that regulates the sport or unless the current commission grows a pair we will continue to see **** like this.

I think he thought Cotto was shot. That's when he was on that whole "I want fighters to be comfortable" tip to try and troll Pacquaio. He conceded the weight and the gloves.

Then Cotto busted his nose and gave him a rough fight so it was time for another flip-flop.
