This isn't exactly "research" either. I typed "Floyd Mayweather vs" followed by his last few opponents into Google Image search. It didn't exactly take long.

I just did the same with Oscar.

I'm sure he has had input on every opponent selection post ODH. Why-most likely because it makes him feel "big" or "the boss" and to get any advantage he can.

That doesn't answer the question. This is specific to the glove selection. All A-sides in the equation have some level of control or power.

I'm asking the question specifically about the glove selection and whether he is far more picky when it comes to punchers
