It's not only in boxing, I see people in the music industry thanking God when they win awards in ceremonies as if they're the chosen ones. It's very agonizing to hear. It's not fair that we don't get to see them when they're in their miseries like in boxing. I mean these are people who behave like thugs in public.

i see thugs all the time thanking god in award ceremonies. i cringe. what's up with that? these are thugs who i see in music videos caressing and stroking scantily clad women like they are their ******.

I wonder if there are any boxers who are atheists or agnostic, but on TV they thank god to please the fans, promoters, managers, network, etc? maybe to please brands who are endorsing them, or to look more attractive and humble to potential brands. I'm going to be honest, I would not be comfortable claiming i'm atheist if I was a pro athlete. I think you would cause controversy, especially if you are a popular athlete. The media will crucify you and you will be treated like if you are the devil.

For all we know, we might have been put here as microscopic organisms by an advanced alien race doing an experiment on planet Earth. This superior alien race could be seen as beings of "greater power". I'm not saying this is what happened, all i'm saying is that maybe a "god" could exist, just with a different interpretation. But if "god" is actually an alien race, then that crushes the historical view of what humans thought god was, and destroys "the bible".

There are good people that only bad things happen to them, they don't have a good event to talk about in their life. There are children who don't have one bad thought in their mind, yet they starve to death. Over 3 million children die of starvation every year. They have never done anything wrong, all they ever did was be born.

No you are absolutely wrong. Not one person can live through this life and experience only bad. Just having the love of the lord in your heart alone is goodness. Seeing a beautiful sunset, hearing the birds, seeing a smile, sharing a hug, seeing a blue sunny sky, being greeted kindly or having food to eat etc. These are all good things that can happen to us. Just because they are not winning the lottery or getting that raise type of good things doesnt mean they are not good. And Just because a good person falls on bad times doesn't mean God has abandoned him or her, God is always present and ready to love and guide you.you must never give up on yourself and your love of the lord.

The souls of leaders or anyone with power will be corrupted by the devil and as a result they will seek more power while neglecting the needs of their people. If he is all powerful, then he could immediately stop all the suffering in the world. He could give food to the millions of children who starve to death. He could stop children being murdered, ****d and sold into slavery.

If he can't do that as you say, then he is not all powerful, in which case he's not any kind of god.

If he is all powerful and could stop the millions suffering but chooses not to, then he is evil.

I believe there is a powerful force which permeates everything. However, this force is neutral and doesn't choose sides. If it did, wars would not be started on a whim.
