It's cute how you don't wanna admit he still looks excellent though so that in case someone takes his "0" you don't have to commit seppuku, you can just say "he was shot"
Sorry to break this to you but Floyd is not the same fighter, he's still miles better than his opponents but he is definitely not the same fighter. I respect the man but it's time we acknowledge Floyd ain't moving nearly as good as he used to, that fact is undeniable.

Floyd came up from 130 to win titles at 154. He's naturally smaller whereas GGG is a natural 160 fighter. Floyd (cherry pick or not) has been the main dude @147 for the best part of 10 years. Clearly it wasn't as easy against Cotto for a 154 strap. @160 GGG is too big.
I just want to know why people defend not wanting to see certain fights or don't want to see fighters challenge themselves?
      Dare to be truly great.
Why wouldn't a fan of Floyd's not want him to fight Golovkin or Peter or Lara ?

If HBO can't market a man with the best KO ratio in MW history than they need to get out of the boxing business. It sounds like you are the bias one my friend.

Lol at ppl. Complaing about Floyd defending his belts at 154. Or how about Ward move up one damn division if he's cleaned out 168.

Floyd is a WW. Is the man not allowed to fight in his own division?

It's cute how you went from "Floyd looks as good as he ever has" to "Floyd still looks excellent".

Most knowledgeable boxing fans know this.

Couldn't tell you, I'm not much of a Floyd fan. I just want to see competitive fights. Fights between boxers who have to span multiple weight divisions are seldomly the most competitive. With exceptions, they're mostly just big name marketing hype, money spinners. IMO GGG vs Ward/Froch/Chavez Jr., is more competitive than lil' Floyd who I think would beaten up by GGG at 154+. I like this Porter/Brook fight tonight because IMO it's 50/50.... that excites me. GGG vs Floyd doesn't.

It's simple, all Mayweather has is an "O", theres plenty of fighters with greater resume's than his in this era. He looses that O and his career is ruined.

                    Do you honestly believe that?

Porter /Brook is interesting and I'm looking forward to it.
and the thing concerning GGG vs Ward/Froch/Chavez being more competitive than a GGG/Floyd fight is that we'll never know if none of them ever get in the ring.
                      I'm a fight fan.
I want to see the best up the ante.
I'm not a fan of Bernard's , but damn if he's not making it hard not to root for him.
