As boring as Ward is he'd beat Golovkin relatively easily. Ward's game is all about spoiling, disrupting the other guys rhythm & not letting them set up for power shots. He's a master at it which is why all of his fights are so messy and dull. I love watching 3G, but the style matchup would seriously benefit Ward.

GGG should probably move up, but I understand why he's staying at 160 just to see if Cotto or Canelo will fight him. Very unlikely but worth sticking around for that small chance.

The risk of a GGG fight for Floyd far outweighs the financial reward. Just like the risk of a Ward fight far outweighs the financial reward for GGG. Don't see how one is easily accepted and the other isn't.

Depending on who you like, it'll either be: 3G was weight drained; or, Floyd is much smaller. Jeff's right, you can't make a legit fight with these two because 3G is naturally much bigger.
            I'm guessing
Duran's fight with Barkley wasn't legit

GGG is willing to fight Chavez Jr at 68 but not Ward. Do you dislike him too?

So, you found exceptions and now... what? You think all fighters can/should be able to achieve the same thing? Like there's no physical barriers for some people? Floyd came up from 130 to win titles at 154. He's naturally smaller whereas GGG is a natural 160 fighter. Floyd (cherry pick or not) has been the main dude @147 for the best part of 10 years. Clearly it wasn't as easy against Cotto for a 154 strap. @160 GGG is too big.

I want him to move up but it's funny how Jeff says forget Floyd, fight Ward ...

... because like, let's say he did, and let's just say Golovkin shocked the oddsmakers and won, he would never be able to make 154 *after* having moved up to 168

So Jeff is basically just saying move north in weight and get the hell away from us ROFL
