I'm absolutely baffled that people are still talking about this. Unbelievable.

You answered your own question. Lets take your words and switch them around a bit shall we? "You are ******, you did not research who the artist was before talking nonsense and making yourself look ******."

People like this idiot see no value in having integrity, in making the point that the artist is making in his response...they think that everyone who is not commercially a commodity must be like them: sitting in mom's basement and waiting to achieve all they can in life which would be for someone to give him/her a free ticket and flight to a boxing match....with a few buffet tickets thrown in of course.

Not everyone is as desperate as you. When you have real talent and integrity and are outside mom's basement things change

This. Dude just passed up an opportunity for mass exposure. He'll continue being a nobody, but hey, at least his response was cheeky.

You think just winning a contest and getting to stand in the presence of these glorious media outlets is going to pay his rent, his bills, his studio rent, his food?

If one of cables biggest, richest networks ie one of these big media outlets you're talking about isn't going to pay you for your job to do something for one of the worlds richest sporting events of the year, who the **** will?

You can only showcase your talents for so long before you get to a point where you need those talents to ****ing well be compensated for, particularly if they are being showcased at one of the years biggest, most watched sporting events this year which results in millions upon mullions upon millions for everyone involved....seemingly except for the guy who's doing the artwork for the main ****ing promotion!

                Childish, ignorant view.
As usual Benny is a voice of reason. Good luck though, to half these ******s a free ticket to see a fight is what they hope to achieve in life. And to another odd percentage saying no to a racket like a corporation should effect an immediate jail sentence.

Besides the TYPE if exposure this guy is getting is better than slimy Showtime's sense of entitlement. He is getting plenty of exposure and exposing the way these congloms are treating people in the arts who help promote their events.

This is ******. maybe this is the big break he's been looking for. I would have jumped at this chance to get the exposure which is probably the most I'd ever get in my lifetime. This kid is an ungrateful **** who doesn't know a great opportunity when he sees one. A chance to get something decent on his resume...he's thrown it away.
