And that's the right answer to go with. Because GGG would dismantle Cotto in less that 6 rounds. Stick to bigger money so to avoid Gennady.

Cotto was not the first Champion of the world asking to defend or fight at a catch weight and he sure as hell won't be the last. Hey, I understand how you feel but it is what it tiz. It's not against the law or rules to fight at a catch weight and Cotto really has no business fighting at 160 Lbs. Cotto can walk away from boxing today and still be a HOF'er..! Can GGG say the same? So when it comes to paying your dues as a new and up and coming fighter, I don't want to hear it. They all had to endure it.. Well expect Broner because he was grass feed.

Boxing needs to stop allowing this. Pac should not have, Floyd should not have, Cotto should not either.

Did you title your comment Dumb as in prefacing your comment?? Because you're spot on if that's the case. That's the problem with Boxing today; money is first in everyone's agenda. It's not about fighting the best of the best in their prime , win, lose, or draw... To man up and see who the best is. Golovkin's trainer is old school, let money be secondary. Go fight the best, unify the division titles. Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Benitez, Pryor, Arguello.... That's how those legends did it. Money takes care of itself when you're fighting the best. Even To Sergio's demise, he said 'Make the Cotto fight happen'... He was less concerned with who made more or if there were a safer payday to be had. GGG's trainer is totally in line calling out Cotto who won a title from a shot, 40 year old Sergio Martinez. If you're gonna call yourself Middleweight Champion, then man up to the best at Middleweight. If not, dump the belt and clean out everyone at 154. That's fair.

If Martinez was perfectly fine and Cotto would have always beaten him, then how does Cotto not belong? He can beat a perfectly fine version of the best MW of the past 5 years but he can't fight Golovkin at 157 or 158?
I didn't hear Cotto calling anybody out . I could do a 156,157.. Lets make it happen..

F'n ******!!! Cotto doesn't beat GGG at any weight! First of all GGG doesn't go to 154 to fight Cotto; you're an IDIOT! LOL! Gennady would never do that not does he need to. He's been more than clear he's set on unifying the Middleweight Division. Cotto beat a shot Sergio at 160, so he can get it on with Gennady there. Thinking GGG should go to 154, is as ****** as saying Pacquiao beats GGG at 147. Grow up clown. Gennady is a full fledged Middleweight Mack Truck. Chavez wouldn't fight him and blamed Arum. That's always the excuse. When you don't want to fight someone, blame the promoter or blame the Network (HBO vs SHO). Oscar said last night he'd love to match Quillin with Gennady. Plenty for Gennady at 160 and if Cotto wants to validate himself as a legitimate Middleweight Champion, then fight the best as a Middleweight.
