Agree with Catrin. The MW belt was for legacy. Canelo is the money fight for Cotto at 54. Then maybe Floyd rematch but only at 54 also (and therefore unlikely). GGG brings nothing to the table comparatively at this point except guaranteed pain.

Nobody cares if it makes financial sense. The bottom line is GGG is far and away the best fighter in the division. He's better than Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, Chavez without question. Have a problem with that? Then when "money" is less important than finding out who the very best really is, make those fights happen and you'll find out for yourselves, then all the naysayers will demand he fight a Klitschko brother at a catch weight.

How the **** is he holding it hostage when he just won the ****ing thing? This nuthuggers in NSB never seem to amaze me!!

Let me explain something to your dumbass:

1. If Cotto vacates the WBC belt Rubio is the mandatory and Murray is the next in line, so they will fight for that title. So GGG wont get a shot a that title, nor he will pursue a fight with neither of those 2 because they don't bring $$$ and that's the only reason he wants Cotto.

2. For the 1000 Gazzillion time Cotto cant drop or quit being the lineal Champ unless he goes back in time and loses to Martinez.

3. By GGG's standards he wont fight Ward because Ward brings no $$$/ Wel;l for Cotto GGG dont bring $$$, so there is that.


in other words GGG is begging for a Cotto fight first because its a money fight and second its the only way he can fight for a title and make $$$. Cotto dont need GGG because A Cotto doesnt win anything at all by beating him, I mean Cotto is already the lineal champ, and second Cotto wins his money fighting whoever.!
