Cotto looked sensatinal against Martinez to become the lineal champion at 160, this fight will be huge.

If he doesn't want to fight, simple, just kneel before GGG and accept that he's the better fighter. and go back down to 154.

That way he wont fight bs catchweights with titles on the line that dont even belong on that weightclass.
We can say the same for GGG not wanting to fight Ward

I'm proud of Cotto for his accomplishments, especially his last fight. He seems to fear no man. But Cotto should not be asking for Catchweights, no one should. Middleweight is 160. If you win a middleweight title, you should have no problem fighting middleweights.

Its the price you pay when coming up the ranks..Cotto will be just fine withouit fighting GGG and you don't hear Cotto calling him out. So if he wants to really fight Cotto? They can do it at 155 or nothing..

Why don't you just tell the truth? You know Cotto gets slaughtered at a fair weight and want Golovkin drained so you Cotto wins. Afterwards you pretend Golovkin wasn't drained.

If Martinez was perfectly fine and Cotto would have always beaten him, then how does Cotto not belong? He can beat a perfectly fine version of the best MW of the past 5 years but he can't fight Golovkin at 157 or 158?

No fighter is obligated to leave their weight class but if they do, they should not be asking for a Catchweight so when did GGG do this? GGG has not done this so your reference to him is full of holes.

Get the Puerto Rican d1ck out your mouth bro!!! There's plenty of us that welcome the challenge of GGG and acknowledge DSG lost a close fight to Herrera.

Cotto vs GGG is a huge joke

              GGG will KO him,

I feels orry for GGG the competition level at 160 is a damn joke

He has no choice but to move up, if he wants the credibility and the $$

Than GGG will one of the biggest disappointments in boxing. A broke fighter since no one wants to fight him at 60

I think Cotto would be more focus on money fights, GGG doesn't bring that sort of money to the table.

There are some fighters who eventually will fight him that are coming up the ranks and as long as there are no more Catchweights in boxing, the sport will be better for it. The boxing public needs to come down hard on Catchweights. If a fighter is TOO SMALL to move up in weight without demanding that the guy he is fighting, come down in weight, then he should NOT be fighting at the higher weight class.

I Agree With GGG's Trainer; BUT Canelo They Have A Chance

Canelo is a huge payday for Cotto, and Cotto "has a chance" to win that fight; mostly likely won't. Cotto against GGG is a lesser payday right now, but still a good payday, and Cotto has NO chance against a bigger, full fledged Middleweight who hits like a 19 year old Mike Tyson. Geale was a very good fighter, and he blew him up from the opening round. Curtis Stevens was a 168lber, who dropped to 160 and was lighting everyone up, was supposed to be the guy to expose GGG, and got train wrecked himself, then everyone piled on talking how over rated Stevens was. Nobody has gone the distance with GGG in 5 years; that's 17 straight knockouts and he's getting more dominate in every fight. So if Cotto wants to test this wrecking machine with all his experience and the greats he's fought and the great that he is, make the fight happen at 160 then! BUT you better collect that Canelo payday first. Because it won't be there if you get lit up by GGG first.
