It's not about fighting the best of the best in their prime , win, lose, or draw... To man up and see who the best is. Golovkin's trainer is old school, let money be secondary. Go fight the best, unify the division titles. Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Benitez, Pryor, Arguello.... That's how those legends did it. Money takes care of itself when you're fighting the best. Even To Sergio's demise, he said 'Make the Cotto fight happen'... He was less concerned with who made more or if there were a safer payday to be had. GGG's trainer is totally in line calling out Cotto who won a title from a shot, 40 year old Sergio Martinez. If you're gonna call yourself Middleweight Champion, then man up to the best at Middleweight. If not, dump the belt and clean out everyone at 154. That's fair.
"golovkins trainer is old school, let money be secondary." Thats bull****, then why is team GGG saying that the ward fight makes no financial sense. sounds like hypocracy to me.

I'd bet a steak dinner that GGG would accept the fight even at 154.1 lbs and would ghoul Cotto no matter what conditions the diva Cotto made..........

If ggg wants to establish that hes one of the very best, go fight ward. "only a big draw in oakland, he fights twice a year." mayweather fights less than that at times you dont hear noone complaining.
GGG-Geale sold 8532 tickets at the Garden

            Ward-Dawson sold 7611 tickets in Ward's backyard.

Not sure what exactly you think Ward brings to the table.......

The same could have been said for Golovkin when he made 154 pounders fight for his tittle and Golovkin has been champ at 160 for a longer time than Cotto lol. Fight a 160 pounder or vacate lol. Golovkin knows Cotto is not a true middleweight and he wants that name on his résumé cuz it's a mismatch.

so its GGG's fault that Cotto is holding the lineal and WBC middleweight titles hostage even though you claim he's not a middleweight? Somehow that's on GGG?

                  smh.......

Just because Cotto is middleweight champ, doesn't mean he should have to fight healthy middleweights.

Team Cotto need to tell Cotto just to drop back down to 154 and fight Canelo and stop wasting everyone's time with trying to convince Cotto is a legitimate middleweight champion.
