Amen! As a kid I worked in a group home for guys with very extreme disabilites, I mean on the order of not even being verbal. There was this one aggressive chap, we will call him "frankie" and he would attack, when you had to grab him and he became "defensive" he would throw his hands out, panick and sort of close his eyes knowing that if he couldn't see return fire he was ok. That is where Vlad stole his defense....I am convinced.
Lennox was a great boxer, but let's not forget that this is the man who claimed that David Price would clean up the division lol. Fury is going to make him look foolish, again.
If it an 8-4 fight for Fury he will still lose. He has to either knock Wlad out or give him such a one sided hiding that no judge could give it to Klitschko. Basically just the knockout because Wlad doesn't have the chin, heart or stamina to take a beating and make it the full distance.
Fury doesn't need to land the big one to put Wlad away. He just needs to keep touching his chin and wear him down to the body. Wlad's reactions to getting hit are so bad he'll go into panic burnout mode and become exhausted before long. Fury shouldn't let Wlad get any clinch breathers, needs to push him off, catch him with uppercuts coming in, get his shots off at close range and step pivot out.
Nobody ever beat Vlad on points. Your scenario is absurd. Fury would have to outjab him and be allround faster and more technically apt, which he just isn't. Fury's only chance is to bully Vlad, use his size and knock him out. Which I certainly wouldn't bet on.
