Wlad struggled against Jennings because he wasn't the typical cement footed no defense having bum that Wlad is used to fighting like Pianeta, Pulev, Leapai, Wach etc. Jennings simple lateral movement and high guard completely extinguished the severely limited klitschko arsenal. Max kellerman got it right when he said Wlad was struggling because Janitor Jennings was the best opponent Wlad fought in a long time.

I am also not sure what that fight proved. Because Glazkov did earn his top ten rating but, obviously he caught Adamek at the right time. With that said I find Glazkov to be a strange one.
What I am trying to say is that what ever skills he may have are in my opinion overshadowed by the fact that he has no fighting spirit. Or something is definitely missing. Does that even make sense?
I also have to give you credit. Because unlike some other Fury fans you aren't trying to dismiss Fury's struggles in the Cunningham fight as pointless. I believe the fans that are are simply in denial.
If there is anything to draw from that fight it's that Fury is a warrior who similar to Maidana, hurting him is often worse for the opponent because he becomes that much more dangerous and determined of a fighter.
Some say glass chin, feather fists. I say granite chin, hands of stone. Fury mauls opponents and stops them, and when he did get knocke down he got right back up and went to war. No bicycle, no quitting on the stool, no staying down like Khan vs Prescott.
Every fighter fights an opponent at some point in their careers that "they are supposed to beat" and they often do, that doesn't mean they will go through a fight unblemished. Give credit to the other fighter ffs, they are there for a reason beyond padding a resume, they are still high level professional fighters who got there by hard work, skills, and heart. I've landed great shots on pros and high level amateurs at my gym and make them miss often, that doesn't mean they are overrated or not good, it's just boxing - 9/10 they would beat me in a fight but that doesn't mean I can't get the better of them in an exchange from time to time.
I swear, people who are ignorant about boxing drive me nuts sometimes. Not you specifically, but so much of this is commonplace on NSB in general and it's sickening.

Janitor Jennings only had about 30 fights amateur and pro, an absolute novice. Wlad still went life and death with him.
There were ways to get around Jennings high guard. He could have hooked around the guard, attacked the body etc. All Wlad did was throw weak jabs off the gloves.Last edited by KnockoutNed; 07-16-2015, 03:03 PM.

And no, I still don't think Klitschko has declined enough to be noticed. You just tried to prove me he's aging with a ridiculous picture that can easily be countered by other pictures..You fury fanboys are something not gonna lie about that.
If you really believe Klitschko is getting old, then fury shouldn't have much of a problem huh?

Actually you are right Wlad will be rocked to his boots by Fury repeatedly punching himself in the face.
In the real world Wlad picks off Fury easily for an early KO.
