I dont even know why people are doubting this

Froch had amazing names around him to make a good career out of....Calz didnt have that kind of oppertunity
He did, there were many fights he could have persued a lot earlier that he chose to avoid. Example: Jones, Toney and Hopkins in their prime.

Don't talk about it Joe, be about it. Put down the coke, pick up the HGH and Test and make your comeback. Backup all that talk.

Laughable revisionist history. James Toney? LOL....he was a Cruiserweight when Calzaghe became champion. Roy Jones was at Light Heavy. And Calzaghe signed to fight Hopkins but Hopkins backed out.

This would be an interesting fight. Joe very well may have slapped Froch to a UD.

Joe was a good fighter, but his resume leaves a lot to be desired. How anyone can deny that is beyond me. Froch is definitely greater in terms of resume. I don't even really believe Joe beat Hopkins.

            That is without any exaggeration.

Play the Dirrell, Taylor, Groves fights over - and he is undoubtedly fortunate to have been on the winning side of ALL of them.

Put all these factors together, and there is simply no case for Froch over Calzaghe, in the ring or resume in-fact.

The SMW division did not go from weak to strong overnight like some make out was the reality. The dominant force retired, freed up the belts, and there was an exciting tournament of the NEXT, best fighters, all a slight level down.
He definitaly lost the Dirrell fight as far as I'm concerned. People have forgotten this because he beat newbie Groves.

He probably lost 8 out of 12 rounds and got a home cooked decision.

Joe would UD Carl quite easily IMO. Not to take anything from Carl, but styles make fights, and Joe's style and speed would be terrible for Carl.

Toney and Jones were fighting at LHW when Calzaghe won his title. Jones stayed there for another 6 years. EVERYONE knows he ducked prime Jones but you. He has even went on record and said this. Hopkins was a middleweight and Joe never had a contract to fight Hopkins in the states until it happened. Try again.

Calzaghe beat Eubank in 1997 when James Toney was at Cruiserweight. Do your research, kid.

Calzaghe signed to fight Hopkins in 2002.

I don't blame him after what Groves managed to do.
