The problem I have with Calzaghe is that he blatantly ducked the up and comer Froch in 2007.

Whereas Froch gave the young guy Groves his chance twice.

I think they're pretty much level in the grand scheme of things but Froch definitely has the bigger balls.

froch is beaten everyone and he just demolished a great fighter in groves. NO ONE has a better resume than froch. i repeat NO ONE.

Froch fought Kessler (a guy that Joe already dominated), Ward ( a guy that he lost to and refused to rematch), AA (a guy that is a natural lwm), Taylor (a guy that was on his last leg and still managed to drop him), Dirrell (he got manhandled by that loser and sucker punched him into retirement). He has some names on his resume but he lost or had the ref play a major part in his best wins for the most part.

Check the dates. Who had Froch fought before Calzaghe fought Kessler and Hopkins?

It's a shame, but Froch needs to take a lot of the blame for that. He didn't step up to world class until his 30s. Calzaghe had bigger fish to fry. The only reason Froch fought Groves is because he didn't.
