That's not hard to understand. If DeGale really wanted the rematch he should have made his promoter make Groves an offer.

Instead he whinged and moaned like a kid and ran off to Channel 5 to fight in front of 1500 people whilst Groves beat the likes of Paul Smith (much better than DeGale) and Glen Johnson who'd just taken Froch 12 rounds the year prior.

Groves has had a better career than DeGale thus far by miles, so maybe you and DeGale should concentrate on that before anything else.
Stop hiding behind his "offer" malarky. Groves was verbally ****ting on the idea of a rematch. Why would Warren make him an offer when he clearly said he wanted no part of a rematch? What would be the point exactly? We don't know if an offer was made or not anyway so you're asking me to prove something that's impossible to prove. Well done.

All we can go on is the noises coming out of each camp. DeGale has desperately wanted the rematch whilst Groves has repeatedly said he "bashed up" DeGale and didn't want to face him again.

Your claims of "ducking" are completely baseless both in terms of actual evidence and reason. Stop letting your massive bias and personal vendetta against Groves get in the way of thinking clearly.
Badly hurt? No. I think he took some shots in maybe 1 round of the fight when he got lazy. Yeah that's the same as "almost stopped"

My claims are backed up by the comments from each fighter for years. Groves would often criticise DeGale's performances, saying DeGale was beneath him and then go off and fight bums like Baker Bakerat and Francisco Sierra.

Also, his general mentally challenged demeanour and comments are annoying.

Disrespectful to Froch aswell all through the build up to the last fight and before that.
Froch deserves no respect, he is a bum.

Well Froch laughed at the idea of a Cleverly fight - didn't stop Warren from offering that fight did it? Nope. So that argument really doesn't stack up.

Hmm, that last part is not entirely true. DeGale said he didn't want the rematch just yet. that he wanted people to see the nice side of him and then the rematch would happen down the line. Those are words from Degale.

        So you're wrong again.

I like how he never kissed Carl's ass, and believed in himself.
Groves is very clever and knows how to utilize his skills. I like that Lewis
Rahman clip below I see Groves destroying Froch in similar fashion.

I honestly never thought I'd see Froch in a fight where he could be considered the dish.

Where does James DeGale ever say he doesn't want the rematch? There are several instances of when Groves said it.

-Never gave a rematch to Kenny Anderson, but cried to get Froch.
-Literally dumped the belt in the bin.
-Saying he "bashed" Degale up when in reality he barely won it.
                    -Never gave Degale a rematch.

There are things I like such as he seems smart enough to make his own decisions also negotiating this rematch because I don't think he has a manager, so yeah he is a smart guy.

Yet nothing as a Pro up to now.

Froch has earned respect. He deserves no less.
