What do people dislike about George Groves

The only things I can think off from the top of my head is that maybe he is a tad arrogant and overestimates his abilities.

Other than that he seems like a decent bloke and has been a good ambassador for British boxing.

What don't people like about him? Has he done/said anything in the past that would make him disliked?

I don't even get why Froch is showing so much dislike towards the guy.

            Just a clown isn't he.

Talks utter nonsense about "Bashing Degale up" and refused to rematch him, showed disrespect to the British Title by putting it in the bin

Also, his general mentally challenged demeanour and comments are annoying.

Disrespectful to Froch aswell all through the build up to the last fight and before that.

              Where do I start?

Gets knocked down and hurt badly by Kenny Anderson before getting a very premature stoppage in the next round. Pulls out of 2 or 3 rematches with fake injuries and never gives Anderson a return. Throws the British title in the bin.

Gets a 1 point decision win over James DeGale by running and feinting all night. Refuses to give DeGale a rematch, claiming he "bashed him up". Also claimed he "bashed up" DeGale in the amateurs in what was a similarly controversial decision that most feel DeGale won. Has ran from a rematch for years now.

Now with all that in mind, he gets controversially stopped against Froch and then doesn't stop crying, whinging, moaning and b1tching about Froch potentially not giving him a rematch. Puts in 4 or 5 appeals.

The guy is a disciple of Team Hayemaker so he is naturally a very dishonest and hypocritical individual.

I don't really mind him, but he's not a guy who is going to take on all-comers like Froch and I don't think that's good for the sport.

If Froch wins, we'll get DeGale, Chavez or Kessler III. If Groves wins, who knows, might be some keep-busy Euro defence.

I don't mind his arrogance or his attempts at "mind games". It's just his actual results are not even that great yet he parades about as if he's pulled out masterful performances.

Bernard Hopkins plays "mind games" and then dominates his opponents, this guy sc****s through by the skin of his teeth and thinks he's a genius.

Him and Adam Booth were lauded to the high heavens for their "tactical master class" against DeGale which was basically Groves running around and feinting all night - a similarly tedious display as the one that Gaye put on against Valeuv. Stealing a fight by 1 point in a controversial decision = a master class apparently.

He did well for 6 or 7 rounds against Froch and then started blowing out of his arse before getting stopped. His face was a mess afterwards he acts as if he was in complete control until that one moment at the end.
