Good fight, Fonfara's stock has gone through the roof IMO showed lots of heart and a will to keep going still think he could've stopped Adonis after he dropped him had he kept up the aggression. Hopkins must be licking his chops right now.

Yeah - there has to be a middle ground for how to react after hurting an opponent, Fonfara chose the throw zero punches and be careful route, then there's the throw caution into the wind route... something tells me there's plenty room for some middle ground. Lack of experience or lack of killer instinct.

I think Fonfara is a tougher opponent than given credit for...but I mean this fight makes it pretty clear why Stevenson fought Tony Bellew instead of Kovalev and why he got cold feet after agreeing to fight Kovalev...dude would rather breach a contract than fight Kovalev.

Fonfara only really has that left hook..that's his KO punch he landed it hurt Stevenson and followed up with a right...

Kovalev will keep coming and his shots have a lot more power in them..the problem with Stevenson is that he punches himself out..and when he's not hurting a fighter...he's doesn't fight well going backwards...

I can see Kovalev taking Stevenson to the ropes in the later rounds and stopping him...

I love how the same fans who don't mind Stevenson ducking Kovalev to fight Bellew and running to Showtime..keep trying to hype up the Hopkins fight...

Stevenson will beat Hopkins easily...it'll be a boring easy decision where Hopkins just runs around doesn't engage and loses almost every round... got it? It'll be the Chad Dawson fight 100X worse...

The fight that everyone but Floyd fans want to see is the Kovalev fight...hopefully GBP and HBO work things out...

Stevenson held a lot more than Fonfara did..and Stevenson landed a lot of low blows...but Stevenson clearly won the fight...

Hopkins could possibly stop Stevenson if he tires the way he did tonight. And I think that was as much or more mental fatigue than physical. Stevenson has started believing his press clippings. He thinks he has this super human power. And I think he was a lil undone mentally after Fonfara came back after the body shot KD and became even more relentless. He's seems a lil weak mentally. And that's a death sentence against Hopkins. In his last fight Kovalev seemed uncomfortable in a rough and dirty fight. That's not good either when fighting X. I think X feels very good about his chances against both.

Oh and you know this bro, Hopkins will target that body early on. If Hopkins makes it to the third round he'll win the fight and I think he does make it to the third round. Adonis wastes wayyyy too much energy in the ring and ain't nobody in the business better at tiring out opponents than hopkins, infact i'll say it'll be hopkins vs pascal all over again

LOL @ Hopkins stopping Stevenson...yah because Hopkins has been stopping those all time greats he's been fighting...when was Hopkins' last KO?

Last time Hopkins fought a decent opponent he was dominated by Dawson...Hopkins fights a few bums at Light Heavyweight and now he's going to beat Stevenson...tf is wrong with you...stick to predicting Floyd will KO every opponent..and only being right about Ortiz...but even a broken clock is right twice a day right?

Dawson quite diff't opponent than Adon. Way diff't. He had too much length and accuracy for Hops. Adonis caught him very cleanly but Chad had been hurt numerous fights prior to this. Hopkins can beat Adon but probably a slight under dog. Don't get exaggerated

It is quite clear by now why Stevenson is ducking Kovalev. The Krusher would break him down.

In fact, Golovkin would trash him too. Triple God is at 168 now, his power, chin and capabilities overcome ANYONE between 154-175.
