Adonis ran out of fuel for a few rounds essentially because he wanted to give a good show to the fans. He won't do this with Hopkins. I love the alien, but I can't see him winning this fight. He's gonna get hurt bad! I hope he doesn't take it.

"Adonis Stevenson Turns Away Determined Fonfara"
"Turns away" is a bit misleading. Makes no sense at all.

What the fuc4 did Adonis' corner slip him after rd9? He was gone, completely gassed. He had looked like he was struggling for a few rounds. Rd10 he comes out fresh as a daisy. Fresher even than Fonfara who had looked the fitter of the two.
I don't know, but I've seen powerful guys in boxing gas many, many times before, and they don't usually come back from that. Especially for another 3 rounds after being knocked down .

Stevenson will beat Hopkins easily...it'll be a boring easy decision where Hopkins just runs around doesn't engage and loses almost every round... got it? It'll be the Chad Dawson fight 100X worse...
The fight that everyone but Floyd fans want to see is the Kovalev fight...hopefully GBP and HBO work things out...

Stevenson had to go through adversity and this should make him stronger.

He doesn't seem to have anything other than a 1-2 in his arsenal aside from single shots. Fonfara could see everything coming but was too square (so those straight body shots were coming in at the perfect angle) and had no head movement (so was just eating anything thrown that got through his guard). With such a static opponent, Stevenson could not conjure up anything that his opponent couldn't see coming. Most rounds went by without a combination beyond a 1-2. He mostly relied on the counter straight left. It was predictable and kinda boring to be honest.
Fortunately for him Fonfara was eating too much to be able to muster the kind of pace in the late rounds required to finish Stevenson.
BHop, Ward, Kovalev will be licking their chops after seeing last night's outing.

Adonis"Got Revealed" Stevenson is more accurate.
It's no secret in the sport of boxing that big punchers often gas out early, look at Mike Tyson or Ruslan Provodnikov.
What seperates Adonis from the latter is that he finished the fight and won.
Though I hate to see clinching in fights, Adonis only did it when he was hurt and had to , very good veteran instincts.
Though one analyst did mention,"If this fight went to 15 rounds, well Adonis..."
