Schaefer will probably find a way to do business with Haymon. I suspect the reason why Schaefer wasn't interested in making high-profile fights was because he's saving them for himself and Haymon. Who wouldn't want to see Broner vs Matthysse, for example? Or any combination of matchups among their "star" fighters? Or GBP just simply didn't have the resources to make such fights.

I would assume most of these Haymon fighters are pondering why Maidana (a Haymon fighter) only got paid 1.5 mil with no PPV upside. Meanwhile on the other side of the spectrum, Bradley....a boring fighter with no fanbase, got paid 6 million in a PPV that didn't even do 1 million homes.

          Hmm.

Al Haymon is good for the his fighter because he feeds his fighter cherry pick fighters who have no chance in beating his fighter why do think Berto was Champ for so long than if his fighter is beat he seems to have a relationship with the judges who will always give his fighter the win. He's bad for the fans who want to see competitive fights. he also tends to bring boxing corruption to the table something we don't need

How are they going to go to Mayweather Promotions when Mayweather himself doesn't promote his own fights? Duh!! You don't think there is a reason why Golden Boy is involved in all of his fights even despite his hate for Oscar, who by the way is the one responsible for vaulting him into the limelight that he enjoys today.

It's funny how haymon gets a bad rap, but none of his fighters are signed to long term whack deals like mike koncz had manny signed... Koncz is an example,of an advisor not doing his job correctly.. Haymon protects his fighters and gets them top dollar, that's his job and he is damn good at it.. His job isn't to make fights
Top dollar so Madaina 1.5 million is top dollar for beating the crap out of Floyd ?

Understand boxing first before u make borderline idiotic comments. Things in theory as not that easy in practice. If promotion was easy to get establish, don't you think that avenue would have been explored by him already. Besides, Haymon cannot form a promotional company unless he relinquishes his role as a manager to the fighters. That is why there is the Muhammad Ali act in place which kind brings up a concern whether Haymon has indeed been doing underground promoting if it is true that most of his fighters are not signed to Golden Boy. That would be very bad for him once the powers that be gets involved.

Bradley had wins against Marquez and Pacquaio. Top Rank has a limited roster. Of course, Bradley was going to get $6 million. I'm surprised he didn't get even more.
