Man when will GGG face a live body? His resume sucks for a "number one contender"

Boring in what sense? He could make GGG look human and potentially outbox him in parts?
I don't rate Mora particularly but if GGG could stop him or win impressively, I think that would send out a big statement.
The problem I have is people don't want these fights for GGG but they're fine with them being non durable guys who aren't half the fighters Sergio Mora is.

As long as his next fight is not a Fletcher, Chudinov level of opposition I will be happy, given his lay off but the guy needs to step it up & his fans should be screaming for these fights. Not making excuses this guys boring, this one is a super middle or whatever despite him going to fight Chavez Jr at the same weight who is the size of a cruiser.

What about Kessler and the likes? Why can't he fight one of them?
Kessler can't fight in July from what I'm hearing, so that can't be Golovkin's next fight.

He's probably going to fight Geale.

Geale is a solid fight despite the fact he's coming off a loss.

Better than all the other options at the moment any way.

I've never been remotely high on Geale but its acceptable if it comes about. He is probably around Macklins level.
Anyone but Fletcher, what a pointless mismatch that would be.

Ggg fight anybody. His trainer says he's not ready for ward.

          Everybody else is avoiding him.

          Peace.

The problem is that while Golovkin and his team don't want to make the Fletcher fight, I don't believe Golovkin could afford to drop his belt. He has enough trouble landing fights with it, without it there's literally no reason to risk fighting him. So if the WBA really insists, Golovkin would probably have to do it.

            That doesn't appear likely, thankfully.

I'm sick of people mentioning James Kirkland. That fight would only be acceptable for one of Golovkin's off TV stay busy fights in Monaco. Golovkin would crush that sucker in 2 rounds at most.

Don't know why anyone thinks it would be a war.

His resume isn't good but the best mw doesn't wanna fight him. Ppl need to realize that. Sergio coulda fought him, he went with Cotto instead. Great fight but who else is there for GGG to fight aside from Martinez???

Doubt he makes it out of the first.

Would be interesting if he did though just for the power.

Golovkin's shown he's not packing glass but it would be another good test of the chin if Kirkland hit him flush.

I don't want to see that fight though.

To me, it seems no-one particularly wants to fight him .
Geale is an ok opponnent IMO, if its the best one on offer.

He had agreed to fight Chavez apparently, but Chavez and Top Rank couldn't agree on things. But they hope to try get that fight for November.
He's also stated he would like to face the Cotto Vs Martines winner.
Dan Rafael wrote in his article yesterday that GGG has also shown an interest to face the Froch Vs Groves winner or even Kessler.

They're all interesting fights for sure..let's hope one of them can be made.
