Man when will GGG face a live body? His resume sucks for a "number one contender"

Geale is a solid fight despite the fact he's coming off a loss.
Better than all the other options at the moment any way.Comment

The problem is that while Golovkin and his team don't want to make the Fletcher fight, I don't believe Golovkin could afford to drop his belt. He has enough trouble landing fights with it, without it there's literally no reason to risk fighting him. So if the WBA really insists, Golovkin would probably have to do it.
That doesn't appear likely, thankfully.Comment

I'm sick of people mentioning James Kirkland. That fight would only be acceptable for one of Golovkin's off TV stay busy fights in Monaco. Golovkin would crush that sucker in 2 rounds at most.
Don't know why anyone thinks it would be a war.Comment

Doubt he makes it out of the first.
Would be interesting if he did though just for the power.
Golovkin's shown he's not packing glass but it would be another good test of the chin if Kirkland hit him flush.
I don't want to see that fight though.Comment

To me, it seems no-one particularly wants to fight him .
Geale is an ok opponnent IMO, if its the best one on offer.
He had agreed to fight Chavez apparently, but Chavez and Top Rank couldn't agree on things. But they hope to try get that fight for November.
He's also stated he would like to face the Cotto Vs Martines winner.
Dan Rafael wrote in his article yesterday that GGG has also shown an interest to face the Froch Vs Groves winner or even Kessler.
They're all interesting fights for sure..let's hope one of them can be made.Comment
