Man when will GGG face a live body? His resume sucks for a "number one contender"

The middleweight division isn't that strong at the moment. The consequences of this seem to be that most of the mediocre contenders in the neighbourhood fancy their chances of beating a weak title holder, rather than being grateful to get any shot at all as would otherwise be the case.

Golovkin is being ducked, left, right, and centre. Anyone who disputes that is either full of shit or clueless. Macklin was the first 'real' contender to step up and fight him and he was demolished. To any impartial observer, it seems clear as a result of that and other performances that Golovkin is at least a level above the rest of the middleweight contenders.

This isn't the same as saying that Golovkin is an ATG middleweight. It's simply an accurate statement about where he stands in the division as it is now.

Saying he's clearly the No.1 contender and arguably the best middleweight in the world is not some minority view held by Golovkin obsessives. It's the dominant perspective in the sport as a whole. It's actually only a small minority of trolls, contrarians, and simpletons on forums such as this one that hold the opposing viewpoint.

He has fighters running from him, you have to consider the Proska win a good one during the time it took place.

          Fernando Guerrero
          Dmitry Chudinov
          Jarrod Fletcher
          Daniel Geale
          Carl Froch
          Mikkel Kessler
          Andre Ward
          Sergio Mora
          Erislandy Lara

There is a list of guys who have called out Golovkin in recent memory just off the top of my head and you want to lead me to believe he is so feared and nobody wants to fight him? Get out of it man!

After Proksa lost to Kerry Hope & struggled in the rematch. Kerry Hope! That was never a good win.

He tko'd him in a rematch and was considered an up and coming contender after looking impressive against Sylvester, it was a short notice possibly risky fight that GGG took.

Froch recently said he would not fight golovkin .

Lara's trainer ronnie shields he does not want to fight ggg. It's not realistic.

                Mora is boring

Ward I'll give you that one but Abel Sanchez decides that one and if he thinks ggg is not experienced enough then it's fair.

Gaele ducked ggg , now he lost his belt to barker he wants to fight. Abel said they want that fight and are asking for exception to not fight mando fletcher.

Sturm ducked Golovkin for YEARS. Literally, years. Geale turned down a fight and Quillin is waiting for a PPV offe

What was so bad about Macklin?

Boring in what sense? He could make GGG look human and potentially outbox him in parts?
I don't rate Mora particularly but if GGG could stop him or win impressively, I think that would send out a big statement.
The problem I have is people don't want these fights for GGG but they're fine with them being non durable guys who aren't half the fighters Sergio Mora is.

As long as his next fight is not a Fletcher, Chudinov level of opposition I will be happy, given his lay off but the guy needs to step it up & his fans should be screaming for these fights. Not making excuses this guys boring, this one is a super middle or whatever despite him going to fight Chavez Jr at the same weight who is the size of a cruiser.

What about Kessler and the likes? Why can't he fight one of them?

Boring in the sense hbo would probably not approve him especially as he on twitter making money demands as a challenger who has nowhere else to go.

I thought that Kessler fight was being talked about. There was a thread about it recently. That would be a good fight. But looks like gaele vs ggg next and if it is fletcher don't blame ggg blame the sanctioning body.
