Manny's Team and Arum are posturing to line up Marquez a 5th time, for what; to line their pockets?

We pretty much know the direction and path Floyd is heading down, but Manny everything is still up in the air. Maybe Arum and Oscar become bed buddies again and we see some of the fighters I listed fight Manny, but if not then using Floyd name as a option for Manny really isn't something real boxing fans should entertain anymore if the purpose is only to maximize interest in Manny's latest fight.

Very well said. I think Top Prank plans to move Manny back down to 140 and aim for big fights with the Crawford/Gamboa winner, Mikey Garcia, throw in the likes of Vargas, Provo and Viktor Postol but who wants to see 2 Roach trained fighters fight.

    • Don't believe these BS that its the best for Pac. Arum has Pac on a leash and will follow him till he can't fight no more. Arum holds him by the throat and we hear not even a whimper from him. What gives? I'm very sure that Arum has info or personal knowledge about Pac that Pac don't want the boxing world to know. PEDS perhaps?

On another topic, its been 5 months since Arum said that they will provide Phil's BIR receipts and/or evidences that they paid Pac's tax to IRS but up to now, nothing. Nada. As a fan, I hate it but Pac's tax problem is getting bigger.

Couldn't have said it any better. 140 and 147 are graveyards.

            • The Cash Money thing's not as crazy as it first sounds. A lot of rappers are using their 90s-early 2000s money to branch out into Sports management/promotion. Cash Money just started their sports agency and signed an NFL prospect. Everyone here knows 50 Cent is heavy into the Boxing promotion game. And Jay-Z's Roc Nation is turning into a sports powerhouse (they have NBA MVP Kevin Durant on their roster, and just got their client Robinson Cano a monster contract).

Speaking of which, I've heard rumors that if/when the DLH/Schaefer & Haymon split happens, the latter will take whoever is signed exclusively to Haymon and start a new partnership with Roc Nation since they have a promoter's license.

                    • Who really gives a sht if Pac and Mayweather fight?! Both have slipped and it was a great fight 3 years ago but people are putting years of arguing over less than 60 minutes of a sporting event that would not be as great now as it would have been. Both sides are to blame, they ***ed up with their demands and egos and prima donna attitudes. How many more years are people going to waste arguing over this sht??? Give it the *** up!
