Promoters are great for up and coming fighters. When you're as established as pac, you don't need a promoter because your name sells it self, and besides you don't have to split your earnings with a promoter. Pac signed this deal for one or two reasons. He's either in crazy debt with arum, or is hiding behind the cold war between promoters to fight better opposition. Being a free agent, he could've fought guys like Danny garcia, broner, Thurman and guaranteed more ppv buys and payday, but instead he'll be fighting the same carousel of fighters.
