Like I said, I give credit to Maidana for closing the distance a lot better than I thought he would but ****, so did Ricky Hatton. This fight actually reminded me of the Hatton fight except Maidana was facing a much older and less sharp version of Floyd.
Hatton had some success early with his mauling and pressure but the theme remains that he didn't land all that much clean either and smothered a lot of his own work up close - just like Maidana did.Comment

Mayweather won. everytime someone doesn't get completely blown out by him, they have the "blueprint". It was obvious that he figured out maidana halfway through the fight. You don't win rounds by bull rushing your opponent and flailing ur arms only hitting arms and shoulders while getting hit with all the clean, effective punches. Hitting arms and shoulders do damage... but they don't score points.Comment

If Khan really wants Mayweather in May, he needs to make the Alexander fight. That's the closest style for what he may see with Floyd...Comment
