It was a close round but where are the clean punches Maidana landed? Floyd landed nearly all the meaningful shots the first half of the round. And did Msidana do enough effective work to negate that? I dont think so

Boxing matches are fights and fights are won by landing clean punches which Maidana simply did not do much of.

It was indeed a very close fight but after rewatching it 4 times, I had Maidana winning by 3 rounds clearly. The activity of Maidana was a big key in his win last night.
