To be honest with you rounds 1 and 3 were toss ups. I think if they fought again Mayweather would win 12-0. I am a mayweather fan. I hate Maidana for what he did to broner. But I give Maidana credit.

You're right, Mayweather did nothing at all to win the fight.
I give Maidana call the credit in the world but he lost, plain and simple. You need to go to ********** and read the mailbag, Bread Edwards sums up the fight perfectly.

Floyd has always been open for body shots. It's just that Maidana was the only one who kept on doing it among Floyd opponents.

Those body shots were landing all night (constantly). Chino was unloading like his life depended on it. Vicious!

maidaina had inefgfective flurries against the ropes in rounds 1 and rounds 3, that lasted for 30 seconds at most. floyd domninated 2 minutres of the round with clean punching, he even backed chino up in round 1 and took over the fight from there.

go back and look at the end of round 1. floyd was in control and punishing chino on the ropes.

I re-watched this fight with the sound turned off and turned around everytime chino cornered Floyd against the ropes.

I finally scored it 7-5 for Floyd.
